Reid was making a joke ?. They update and improve it so regurlarly that not getting an update/upgrade every week or so seems like a long time.

15% extra off with code YOLO2022 at thefxchain.com.

https://www.mathewlane.com/ Sadly, no discount on just Dr. MS. That one is still 119. TiCo is 49 (from 89) and Stereodelta is 29 (from 59). Full bundle 159 (from 199). So I imagine if you get the full bundle, you basically get Dr MS for 40 less, which is a 33% discount.

https://www.functionloops.com/vocal-pack-by-lokka-vox.html Their holiday gift. She's a very good vocalist. Maybe somewhat too 'commercial' for most of us, but still a nice freebie.

Don't forget about that porn sax ?

I don't. I think I have Visa? Don't really know. I think those perks are a typical American thing, am I right? Anyway, I have Amazon prime which is cheap, I got HBO max for that lifetime discount for cheap. I don't care for Netflix but I'm a huge Star Wars fan, so Disney+ adds something. So I'm trading some music software for other entertainment. Seems fair.

Oh I did a ton of loops and samples this BF. This week I did some of those Function Loops from their sale. They have some quality stuff.

Jup, not gonna bite this time. I already made an unplanned purchase with Eventide Invigorate. So that offsets things a bit. Maybe I will get myself Disney+ as well. I think they have Die Hard and Christmas is coming...

I know I know, don't tempt me. I have several of their libraries and they are indeed inspiring. I think I have Indie, Grosso and Noir. That should cover the inspiration part. Perhaps next year when 80 drops a little in price.
-
Noticed there was still an intro deal on Invigorate. Totally forgot about that one. Bought it.

This is my GAS talking. I like it, but I'm not sure I have a use for this. Buuuut it's seems a waste to not use my discount code. But I really shouldn't. But it would take another year. But...

Indeed, this is the case for me also. Sorry if I inadvertently misled someone.

No it doesn't appear to be linked with Vogue. I don't have Vogue and according to the UJAM website I qualify for the loyalty price. But maybe it was a glitch? I will check again tonight when I'm home.

I got a serial in the confirmation mail. So I guess it's for the player.

Sale is (still) on. My upgrade is 119. I have the H9 series and Split EQ. This seems like a good deal.

https://www.ujam.com/pianist/vibe/#product--553 The second installment in the Virtual Pianist range. This time focused on the electric piano. Full price 149. Intro price 99. Loyalty price 75. Not sure what product you need for the loyalty, I qualify and I don't have Vogue (the other virtual pianist). They knock it out of the park again with their walkthrough. I think it sounds awesome!

Use code 'xmas10' to get $10 off every purchase. This makes many sample packs just 5 or thereabouts. https://www.functionloops.com/ Can be used multiple times.

I'm curious about the final sale tomorrow. That 12DOC discount and loyalty points are burning in my pocket. This one seems cool though.

Hurdy Gurdy free (Kontakt 7) Largo for 99 instead of 249. https://www.sonokinetic.net/

Just a reminder, sale ends tonight.

Well, that would be a pleasant surprise. Still the price though... -

Depends on your goal. I use Tracklimit on basically every track and bus with tonal sounds, it is very light and (can be) transparent and has more options. My first impression is that yes, it is better. My impression is that it gives you a nice starting point, but that is just it. After that you still have to do the fine-tune work. And pure:limit doesn't seem to offer a lot of options there.

I watched the demo from White Sea, it does some automatic things like Smartlimit. But it seems to give you just a starting point from where you have to tweak a lot. I don't see it adding something to DMG Tracklimit, apart from the starting point. No buy from me.

Cinematica is aimed at, you'll never guess, cinematic noises. It's that, noises, soundscapes, impacts and drones. Perhaps not the most useful for regular music production. Very Sci Fi -y. Zero is the blank Ibrido engine where you can import your own samples. Favola is a bit of the same as Cinematica, but seems too be more aimed at a more fantasy (favola means fable I think) oriented genre. They are all very much targeted at scoring.
