  1. They look like they are on different channels which would be correct. If midi 1 goes to tts1’ channel 1, and tts1 output goes to (synth-audio)track 1. That should output 1 synth track from midi 1 Midi 2 to Tts channel2, tts channel 2 to synth/audio track 2 you will need 2 more copies of Ty’s synth track to output the 3 different tracks As you put tts1 into the project it ask how many outputs do you wasn’t. Just say all. That was those missing tracks will be made for you. most of the time I just use channel 1 and have a midi and synth track. Thi makes it much faster to unfreeze, edit a note and refreeze. If you used a synth like Kontakt you would find yourself wanting to correct 1 note and having to wait for 32 tracks to unfreeze and re freeze. Easiest way use 3 copies of tts1 set channel 1 of each for your instruments 3 synth tracks 3 midi tracks (or more)
  2. Another waves Mercury user here. I haven't done wup in years. My computer hasn’t blown up. I know they might be a risky company, but I survived version 2 to v3 fiasco. That’s too bad they don’t have the managerial AI lol. If they could figure out finance as well as DeVerb and DeNoise work. ?
  3. I don’t know how good your keyboard playing is, but even if it’s really good this doesn’t seem like a great idea. The kick might need a push (A little bit ahead of the beat) or a pull (A little bit behind the beat) If I knew what style music / tempo, I would know better what to recommend. Is the song strict timing rhythm, or does the timing flow up and down some?
  4. Just curious - We’re you able to figure out a plug-in, multi plugins, just total cpu?
  5. Let’s send them a poll of how many from this group would buy their products. (except Bapu would certainly say installed without reading lol!)
  6. I don’t use pro-channel. If I remember, ozone, Sonible, and more. The CPU was very high as well. When I turned off enough plugins to lower the cpu, the sound popped back on, after a pause and restarting the song.
  7. I have had this several times. It had to do with plugins. Several were on my master bus. There was several different plug-in combinations that would work and several combinations that did the pop - meters pegged - no sound. Try disabling some plug-ins. Sorry I can’t remember the combinations.
  8. I wish there was a sub forum that discussed biab, scaler 2 and other midi generators. Only thing subs get so ignored. I didn’t know about this either from google search -> A new generation of AI MIDI software has emerged over the past 5 years. Google, OpenAI, and Spotify have each published a free MIDI application powered by machine learning and artificial intelligence Will Sonar be called “Sonar AI” Wouldn’t this be a pleasant surprise?
  9. Wow you know it would be nice to click on “in the style of” Jon Lord, Booker T, Keith Emerson, Jimmy Smith, Lonnie Smith etc. I guess someone industrious could split the tracks into stems and drop the keyboard track into Melodyne.
  10. I love the b3 sound. I will definitely check this out, but IK media “Hammond” B3X is phenomenal. Sorry no midi tracks?
  11. What are your favorite tools to find and solve masking problems. Ok skip the 1st one, Start with #2. Any old EQ -Ears, Pro-Q3, TrackSpacer, Span Plus, MultiFreq, Nectar I have used TrackSpacer a few times. I would use it more because it is so easy, but the CPU is a little high. I have Nectar3-4 but never used it. I hear Nectar is also high CPU plug. I have use Multifreq and ProQ3. 1)Ears and an EQ 2)
  12. Pie is certainly colored! Try a little on your percussion bus! I frequently put it on the bus along with Kramer HLS (With a little preamp boost). Just sayin' - I put them in my saturation section of my bus.
  13. I just searched Keyboard Shortcuts.pdf doc and "edit.preference.Keyboard Shortcuts" inside CWBL. I did not see any.
  14. I have had problems opening a song with Sonible smart limit. I just quit using it. I’ll look into it again.
  15. What do you guys think about these. I always has questions about the possibility of small distortions/artifacts added by inexpensive plugins.
  16. I have not had any problems. I have noticed things act odd if. 1) The computer hasn’t been rebooted in a while 2) memory load extremely high almost full 3) latency set to low or too high.
  17. sjoens wow I couldn’t decide whether to laugh or like your post!! They could call it an new AI feature. Lol thanks for the laugh! Yea
  18. You can search the forum multiple ways. You should check it out too.
  19. Today smart limit has been locking up a song. I could do a safe load, but what about a safe load plus. A pop up ask me which plugins to exclude. I type in smartlimit. The song loads without smartlimit and I don’t have to answer 70 times Do you want to load this plug-in.? Please consider this. It would save time and irritation! It could load with shift+ to activate. Is could have a pop up with several fuels for data entry Thanks for considering this.
  20. Merry Christmas and good luck with your cake adventures!
  21. The current dosc are always the best place to start . For more information discuss.cakewalk.com is the second best place. If you like fishing, well google lol. google is oatmeal good for you google is oatmeal bad for you ?
  22. I have pretty good luck with this too-> google.com In cakewalk how do I ….. This searches the online documentation the forum and a bunch of other sources. You just have to be careful which Cakewalk/Sonar version google search pulls up and how old the data is.
  23. There is a midi cache setting somewhere too. I have mine wide open. It can cause very slight delay on start while it filled the buffers. Buffers 128 playback Prepare using 1000 ms buffers Hope this helps
  24. I just want to give a thanks to Jim Roseberry. The computers he has built for me have been great. The only problems I ever had were ones of my own making lol. I can’t believe how well this old over clocked i7 still runs. I think it was bought around 2012. I am definitely a plug-in junkie. Probably only topped by Bapu! It takes a bunch of plugins / soft synths to slow this thing down. Thanks Jim!
