Hi Freddy, Many thanks for the great comments & compliments. As your probably aware I am essentially a lyrics guy, guitar, well not so much as I'll never play like you can, so I depend on plugs like NI to hold the structure and then add my own bits to it so it's not cheating .... the rest is all in my head . I use Plat, Bandlab and CB12 Pro, but this was done entirely on Plat then mixed using CB12. The song was inspired by my grandson and school stuff we all go through at one time or another as we grow.... Keep up the great work mate? All the best Steve

As a lyrics kind of guy ... love the lyrics, I think the arrangement has a little too much compression in that it has that everything 'in your face' kind of thing .. probably what you were going for, so all good. ATB Steve P

This song is everything it should be. The vocal to me ..... ( and I could quote quiet a few ) is so much to me, like my old mate, Lynne , and it cuts through the mix something grand. To me the mixing of all the bits and pieces are excellent ... I normally ask for the lyrics .. ' but in this case I hear them all ! ...and they are 2me something I wish I had wrote myself, the meter is spot on ... as is your guitar work and interpretation of the beat and just where it should be .... I'm thinking I like it .. should be on main stream IMO ... WELL DONE !! Steve

Lynn ! For the first time EVER! No Crits .. V2 is a great listen so from me to you ? ... well maybe the ending left me wanting but how do you finish apart from that? All these years of mucking around and you produce a gem ... must go ... ghodda listen again ? ATB Steve

Good for a demo idea but the mix is severely lacking making the whole song toppy. Good to see lyrics but your vocal is, in some, places is very low. One last thing is that it's a happy tune with a sad message ...perhaps you meant to do it that way, who knows but you. I would suggest a remix with the comments here in mind

Yep, it's the same deal from my end Bjorn, it's just that from then to now your stuff ( and vids ) have become so professional ( respect ) I wondered if you was gonna take the hop ? For me ( with the home built PC ( as you ) I think I needed reassurance. Good to know you get great stuff from your gear. I had the opportunity to look up an old mate and he had the latest Mac book set up / when he told me how long it took to swap things around with the flaf ( Samples etc ) Not the main progs, I don't think I'm young enough to learn a new O/S ... plus I wanna sleep ?.. I use C/w by Bandlab and C/b 12 pro , and IMHO they are the best ... for everything a songwriter needs. Thanks mate for responding ?means a lot Stay well Steve
