I'm in a similar situation to Grem after buying the Total Studio 2 MAX on a deal last year. All I am interested in is the Leslie collection, MODO Drums (which isn't included in the group buy) and AXE I/O which I am waiting for a deal on. Will focus my attention on the iZotope MPS2.1 and Melda deals.

Thanks Larry. More information on NoiseAsh Vocal Finalizer on the NoiseAsh website https://www.noiseash.com/vocal-finalizer/ The plugin is on sale there for $29.90 by itself i.e. without the tutorial videos and sample pack included in the ADSR deal.

Add an instrument to CbB..I used Arturia Jup-8V. I dragged it from the browser using the defaults which makes separate audio and MIDI tracks. Add Ripchord to CbB - I did this from the browser as above. Make sure on the VST properties of these plugins that Enable MIDI Input and Output are selected (they were by default for me). On the instrument track (e.g. Jup-8V) select the MIDI input as Ripchord MIDI Omni and make sure you are monitoring the instrument to be able to hear its output. You need to make a Ripchord preset to do anything (or load one from the community - requires a free account with them). For a quick test.... Click on EDIT in the Ripchord UI. Click on middle C on the input keyboard and a C Major triad or whatever you want on the output keyboard (C, E, G). You can set up anything; this is just a quick test. Name the preset and chord and switch back to PLAY mode. Now when you play that note you will hear whatever notes you have set up on the output played on the instrument. You may need to set your keyboard as input for the Ripchord MIDI track if not already or just use the UI input keyboard.

Thanks Larry and Mibby. Not as "no brainer" as your deal Mibby but I can get the MEssentialsFXBundle for 93 Euros which gets me 7 new plugins I don't already have: MAutoAlign (25 Eur), MAutoDynamicEq (50 Eur), MCompare (30 Eur), MLimiterX (50 Eur), MSaturatorMB (25 Eur), MTurboCompLE (50 Eur) and MTurboReverbLE (75 Eur) which adds up to 305 Euros (sale prices) so a pretty good saving. Whether I need it is another thing ?

Whoah, just back from holiday and there's soooo much to catch up on! Larry has been super busy ?? I have been keeping an eye on the forums on my phone but you can only do so much while sitting on a beach with sand blowing in your face ?️. I will probably go with JRR also Fleer. I nearly did the MPS upgrade last time but it worked out way cheaper for me to just upgrade from N2A to N3A. So the only things I don't have in MPS 2.1 are Nectar 3, VocalSynth 2 and RX 7 Standard but it's probably still worth it for those three things alone at around 100 GBP. I recently used RX 7 Elements on a song with around 28 stacked vocal tracks, each recorded in a fairly noisy environment (school) with an RX plugin on every track and I was impressed at how well it worked and the low CPU hit. So I wouldn't mind upgrading to Standard (as Larry mentions, upgrade to Advanced is still too much money). I guess I could also re-sell the Celemony Melodyne 4 Essential license to bring the price down a little more. Probably also worth doing this crossgrade to lower the price on any future MPS 3 upgrades etc.

I'll send you mine Fleer!

Could use this in my new band Rage Against The Latrine.

Yup that was a good freebie. I just had an email from them about Riff Generation :Outside In Edition which they say they are launching at the best price first. Seems cheap at 100 usd compared to the normal Riff Generation package which is normally 500 although you can get both for 200 at the moment. They are also doing 4 for 3 where you get the cheapest item free. Does anyone have any of their guitar libraries or Chroma?

Thanks Nigel. I was on the verge of caving in but I know when SSS is next on sale I would be gazing longingly towards it so I might just wait for that!

It is pretty tempting. I also have their TrackSpacer plugin which is an excellent tool. I have had Sharine and InSession's Shimmer, Shake Strike on my radar for a while although the latter is quite a bit more money (even more so while Sharine is on sale). For us folk in the UK you have to add VAT so Sharine works out at around 42 GBP at the checkout. Eli Krantzberg did a pretty decent review on it ...

Ah sorry Larry, thought you had upgraded to 16. Yes I will probably do the same re the Humble Bundle as I have quite a few existing projects in Vegas which I wouldn't want to have to re-create in DaVinci. I am hoping that Vegas 16/17 will bring back some stability for me and I'm quite happy to pay the Humble Bundle amount to find out (as opposed to the $150+ offer that Magix keep sending me).

How are you finding Vegas 16 Larry? I recently tried using Vegas 15 for a project and was getting quite a few problems including hanging in the middle of rendering; the percentage complete stopped increasing and the time to complete kept getting bigger. This was something I found when I used it before which I never encountered with version 14. Looking online it seems the problem is quite common (also with 16). Of course it makes it even more annoying that you have spent quite a few hours editing the video to make it perfect only to find that it fails at the render stage ? Anyway, I decided to try DaVinci Resolve 16 again and I have to say that it was a dream to work with and I got the project done really quickly after I watched one of the free tutorials here --> https://www.blackmagicdesign.com/uk/products/davinciresolve/training . There are so many neat little touches that shows how much thought has gone into its development. The free version just worked without any issues and seems to have everything I need apart from DVD export (which I need occasionally to send family videos on DVD). For these I found the quickest at converting exported 1080p footage to MPEG2 was an old copy of Adobe Premiere Elements I still had installed (TMPEGEnc is actually an old favourite but annoyingly I cannot find my license) and I can also use Magix DVD Architect to create better menus if needed.

They are definitely priced to sell! I already have Aquiver, Synferno, Space 1 and 2 and Ghost so I am just weighing up whether the other 4 are worth it.
-
The ones that I use over and over are Miroslav Philharmonic 2 and Kirk Hunter Virtuoso Instruments and sometimes Halion Symphonic Orchestra. I'm no expert at strings but just use whatever sounds right to my ears in a song (usually pop/rock genre).
-
I also decided to put the money to use elsewhere Mono. Got way too many string libraries some of which I think sound better than this to my ears.
-
Also, check your email if you already own some of their plugins. I bought their Ultimate Bundle a while back and they have just sent out an email with an updates link.
-
My thoughts exactly. I think the only plug there that I have been after for a while is Renaissance Vox.
-
Yes I got that email too. I checked the upgrade price in my account from Gold which was 120 USD. Amazingly I don't have any of the individual plugs that make the difference between Gold and Platinum. I just don't want to spend that much on Waves at the moment. I guess Koby would be cheaper. https://www.waves.com/compare-bundles

Can't find an emoji for "hangs head shame" ?
-
Yes worth getting Mesh and only ~60Mb. I wouldn't have paid anywhere near 36 USD for it but it's okay for a freebie. It's worth taking a moment to read the PDF manual to set up the snapshots. This gives you access to 11 snapshots. It's just a simple case of copying the snapshot folder to the correct location.
-
I ran the update again and this time it appears to have worked ? Also, I found that where the version number is available in the plugin (from the "About" button which seems to be missing from some plugins e.g. bx_boom) it's best to use that rather than look at Programs and Features as they are reported incorrectly there.
-
They have now got back to me and gave me the same reason (I bought the library at T&S). So I have sent them a copy of my invoice and await a response ?? Update : they got straight back to me with a discount code ?
-
Tempted by the Slide Bundle and Passion Flute (to go with Flutes of Fire). Got some slices to use up so should be a great deal.
-
None of the 29 plugins were updated! Although the Installation Manager looked like it was downloading and installing all of them and even gave a message to say that it was complete. I don't like how it downloads to somewhere which is not configurable so I will have to go hunting. I have raised a support ticket as I really don't fancy updating these manually.
-
I just tried updating all of my P.A. plugins. I checked the installed versions before update and again afterwards. No change! Looks like I will have update manually as most installed versions have been updated (I manually checked installed versions vs the ones available in my account on their website) ?
