  1. Mine are also on an SSD abacab but I have way too many Waves plugins. ? Anyway, I don't think the problem is the number of Waves plugins but the fact that it re-scans multiple versions of Waveshell every time even when they haven't changed. So for now I have set CbB to manual scan and when I add something new (more often that I should) I do a manual scan.
  2. I might upgrade if it appears in a future Humble Bundle offer but for now I am very happy with DaVinci Resolve 16 having switched from Vegas Pro 15.
  3. Thanks for the information Matthew. I just tried Reaper, Studio One 4.5 Pro and Cubase Pro 10 and none of them seemed to repeatedly re-scan Waveshell files after multiple startups with their default scan settings.
  4. Agreed. It's very annoying and the only plugin I can think of that behave this way.
  5. Same here! Also note that the Elevate Bundle also includes the Saturate and Punctuate updates so no need to download these separately if you are downloading the Elevate Bundle update.
  6. I'm sure there is a way to stop the multiple Waveshell.dlls (Waves plugins) being scanned at every startup which I seem to have forgotten. I have Wavshell9.92 and 5 different versions of Waveshell10 (as I have v9 & 10 plugins). Most other plugins are scanned once at CbB (and other DAWs) startup and then no more until they change but Waves seem to be different. I had even thought of making a batch file to move/hide/rename them until I update any of the Waves plugins and then move/unhide/rename again when I need them again but I'm not sure that will work and I'm sure there was a better solution. Anyone? Thanks
  7. Bakers are on a roll now! Thanks for the heads-up Larry ??
  8. Thanks chaps. I was interested in the original version of this but was put off by the price. I might get the Outside In version now the price is more reasonable. Does anyone have the original version and care to share their thoughts?
  9. I am tempted by that bundle too Fleer even though I already have vol 1 as it's still a pretty cheap way to get vols 2 & 3. Would be interested in your thoughts on vols 2 & 3 when you have tried them out. Loving the look and sound of Veevum. The UI seems well thought out but I will hold off this time and wait for it to appear on APD etc for a knockdown price.
  10. Same here Fleer. My account level is "Cheapskate".
  11. Yes indeed! 18 usd for Electric Cello and 28 each for Claire Flute and Clarinet doesn’t seem too shabby.
  12. Great value for all three Riffendium volumes (didn't even know about vols 2 & 3). I paid more for Riffendium 1 at Christmas when it was on sale.
  13. This is the JRR "crossgrade from any advanced product" link if anyone needs it: https://www.jrrshop.com/izotope-music-productionsuite-upgrade-advanced Just upgraded myself
  14. Zo's review is pretty cool...
  15. I'm in a similar situation to Grem after buying the Total Studio 2 MAX on a deal last year. All I am interested in is the Leslie collection, MODO Drums (which isn't included in the group buy) and AXE I/O which I am waiting for a deal on. Will focus my attention on the iZotope MPS2.1 and Melda deals.
  16. Thanks Larry. More information on NoiseAsh Vocal Finalizer on the NoiseAsh website https://www.noiseash.com/vocal-finalizer/ The plugin is on sale there for $29.90 by itself i.e. without the tutorial videos and sample pack included in the ADSR deal.
  17. Add an instrument to CbB..I used Arturia Jup-8V. I dragged it from the browser using the defaults which makes separate audio and MIDI tracks. Add Ripchord to CbB - I did this from the browser as above. Make sure on the VST properties of these plugins that Enable MIDI Input and Output are selected (they were by default for me). On the instrument track (e.g. Jup-8V) select the MIDI input as Ripchord MIDI Omni and make sure you are monitoring the instrument to be able to hear its output. You need to make a Ripchord preset to do anything (or load one from the community - requires a free account with them). For a quick test.... Click on EDIT in the Ripchord UI. Click on middle C on the input keyboard and a C Major triad or whatever you want on the output keyboard (C, E, G). You can set up anything; this is just a quick test. Name the preset and chord and switch back to PLAY mode. Now when you play that note you will hear whatever notes you have set up on the output played on the instrument. You may need to set your keyboard as input for the Ripchord MIDI track if not already or just use the UI input keyboard.
  18. Thanks Larry and Mibby. Not as "no brainer" as your deal Mibby but I can get the MEssentialsFXBundle for 93 Euros which gets me 7 new plugins I don't already have: MAutoAlign (25 Eur), MAutoDynamicEq (50 Eur), MCompare (30 Eur), MLimiterX (50 Eur), MSaturatorMB (25 Eur), MTurboCompLE (50 Eur) and MTurboReverbLE (75 Eur) which adds up to 305 Euros (sale prices) so a pretty good saving. Whether I need it is another thing ?
  19. Whoah, just back from holiday and there's soooo much to catch up on! Larry has been super busy ?? I have been keeping an eye on the forums on my phone but you can only do so much while sitting on a beach with sand blowing in your face ?️. I will probably go with JRR also Fleer. I nearly did the MPS upgrade last time but it worked out way cheaper for me to just upgrade from N2A to N3A. So the only things I don't have in MPS 2.1 are Nectar 3, VocalSynth 2 and RX 7 Standard but it's probably still worth it for those three things alone at around 100 GBP. I recently used RX 7 Elements on a song with around 28 stacked vocal tracks, each recorded in a fairly noisy environment (school) with an RX plugin on every track and I was impressed at how well it worked and the low CPU hit. So I wouldn't mind upgrading to Standard (as Larry mentions, upgrade to Advanced is still too much money). I guess I could also re-sell the Celemony Melodyne 4 Essential license to bring the price down a little more. Probably also worth doing this crossgrade to lower the price on any future MPS 3 upgrades etc.
  20. Could use this in my new band Rage Against The Latrine.
  21. Yup that was a good freebie. I just had an email from them about Riff Generation :Outside In Edition which they say they are launching at the best price first. Seems cheap at 100 usd compared to the normal Riff Generation package which is normally 500 although you can get both for 200 at the moment. They are also doing 4 for 3 where you get the cheapest item free. Does anyone have any of their guitar libraries or Chroma?
