  1. Yup, it's on the busses of my default template.
  2. Access all tabs for FREE until May 31! Useful if you own Guitar Pro to access some very high quality tabs. You have to create an account unless you already have one. https://www.mysongbook.com/ While downloading a few tabs I also noticed that a new version of GuitarPro is available - version 7.5.4.1798 (it will prompt you and ask whether you want to download).... 3. The integration with many DAWs including Cakewalk was what attracted me to it abacab. I found this thread which is interesting as it seems that many people have issues with getting it to work fully in Cakewalk... ...but there are actually lots of threads on this forum (and the old one) about integrating the Nektar series of keyboards with Cakewalk (I'm using this to mean various versions of Sonar and CbB). If you Google "Nektar with Cakewalk" you can find them plus links to the relevant Nektar support pages and PDF manual for using Nektar controller keyboards with Sonar. Here's the --> Nektar Sonar setup PDF
  4. Cheers abacab! Similar situation in the UK. My local place (Gear4Music) says stock expected 12-15th May but I have just found that Thomann have them in stock with free delivery so I might order from them although a couple of UK shops are cheaper (£106.99 at Absolute Music and Inta-Audio) but no stock.
  5. Also some free packs... https://soundmasters.org/free-downloads/
  6. Would be interested in your thoughts Aidan. Do you own Serum btw? I might still be tempted but I had to laugh when I went back there just now to check the details of each pack and the time left was still over 6 hours! Same as it was a couple of hours ago. There is more MIDI than I initially thought and tons of Massive presets.
  7. I'm curious too Aidan. I would have been more interested if it mentioned some MIDI. It says there's just over 6 hours left on the deal but I guess it could be one of those that goes on and on.
  8. Tempted by this. I got an email with an extra $10 off voucher so check your emails.
  9. Did you have any luck with your Graphite 49? Unfortunately, by the time I decided to go for it, it was sold. Anyway, after looking into it a bit more the Nektar Impact LX49+ looks like a good alternative but they seem to be out of stock everywhere (maybe due to the virus?). Have you had any experience with one of these at all? Thanks
  10. I'm looking for a MIDI controller to complement my MIDI controller keyboard, or maybe something to replace my existing keyboard. Specifically I would like it to have pads, knobs and faders. More info here... @Christian Jones I have Realivox Ladies and it's excellent for oohs and ahhs. Band in a Box also does backing singers now. @Tezza lovin that Ibanez ?
  11. Has an excellent Pattern to Song workflow and lots of quality soundbanks available (via IAP). Here's a couple of Doug's videos to get a feel for what's on offer...
  12. I have been using the Early Access version which has been great. Loving the Arranger and Pro-Channel presets. Go get it! Thanks Bakers!
  13. Thanks Larry. After un-installing it t'other day I saw this excellent and informative post by @TheSteven so I might do a clean install and relocate all the samples somewhere useful
  14. Cheers Vernon & Larry. Already have the ones listed below. Any suggestions for any others that are worthwhile? As you can see I'm a sucker for 70s/80s synth/pop/prog - JMJ, ELP, Vangelis, Genesis, Depeche Mode, Trevor Horn, Kraftwerk, Moroder, T Dream, Toto etc
  15. @msmcleod I just noticed there's a v2.50 firmware for the Graphite 49 on Samson's webpage. I would imagine that you have already updated but wondered if that might help with the key velocity issue? Were you able to improve the situation at all by adjusting the velocity curves? http://www.samsontech.com/support/samson/resourcesandmanuals/usb-midi/keyboard-controllers/p/graphite49/ The Editor Software for Windows also looks like it could be useful. I ran it just to have a peek although obviously without the keyboard it doesn't do anything.
  16. Good to know, thanks. Maybe that's why it's being offered for a low price. Also found this article which mentions the Graphite 49 and Cakewalk configuration of mackie compatible controllers. https://www.harmonycentral.com/articles/uncategorized/how-to-use-mackie-compatible-controllers-with-daws-r376/
  17. I have now been slightly sidetracked by one of these which I can get cheaply. It would keep everything neat and simple in one package (keyboard, controllers, sliders etc) and also replace my 3 octave keyboard with a 4 octave one which also has aftertouch. http://www.samsontech.com/samson/products/usb-midi/keyboard-controllers/graphite49/
  18. Looks kind of futuristic and very slim. If I was paying that much though I would probably get a Maschine Jam.
  19. I remember seeing the Philip Rees ads in music magazines. I like how it looks no-nonsense and solidly built and PLENTY of sliders!
  20. Thanks for your reply to my email David and for also posting here. I was just about to copy your email here so you saved me the need to. Hopefully this will get you and others sorted @cclarry
  21. That's very strange Larry. I have contacted them to see if they can send you (and others) the links manually. I have pointed them to this thread so that they can see how many are having issues. They are actually worth having for the small amount of space they occupy.
  22. Looking good. Wonder what the upgrade cost will be from Scaler 1.
  23. Thanks, that's what I was hoping for. So once connected via USB, as long as the basic ACT surface is set up in Preferences - MIDI - Control Surfaces I should be good to go?
  24. @Noel BorthwickPossible minor bug on Arrangement Export as Audio. I exported an arrangement which was named... Watch Out NewJH01-Arrangement 1.mp3 After making a few changes I decided to keep this one and add another arrangement and saved it as... Watch Out NewJH01-Arrangement 2.mp3 (this was what I typed in the save as box). The resulting file was named... Watch Out NewJH01-Arrangement 2-Arrangement 1.mp3
