Thanks Grem. I like what you came up with there ? I have had a play with Obelisk now and like what it does. The keyswitch to change scales is useful. I have recently been experimenting with using a number of these type of plugins together e.g. Scaler 2 into Chord Potion, so would be interesting to add Obelisk into the mix.

Very true. I was on the livestream last night and told Shane about the ilio situation and his response was basically that they are usually a bit behind on updates! I totally agree with Matthew re Unify being able to take care of its own updates. Alternatively why can't they do what most other vendors do i.e. you buy it from wherever, then register with the developer who treats you like any other customer.

Page 20 didn't work for me and the message I get says to enter the 2nd word of the big headline on page 78 which is a different word. Maybe it's different every time a person accesses it?

At least you can do that now if you bought from PluginGuru direct. Ilio are behind the curve. Wish I hadn't saved a few dollars now and bought direct from PG. Still waiting for a reply from ilio as they have 1.1.13 program but still the old 1.0.12 guru file.

Thanks Grem. That's enough to spur me on to using it again. I guess with so many options (Scaler 2, Instachord, Chord Potion etc) it's easy to overlook some.

There are around double the number of samples in V2 compared to V1. Some are the same in V1 and 2 like the nice E Piano but there are a lot of new ones. Internal sounds can also be turned off but I would say that they are handy for sketching ideas. You would probably use one of your other sound libraries for more polished sound for any final production though.

Let's hope they don't demand a sacrifice

What is it they say about a watched kettle never boiling I got fed up hitting refresh and moved on to something else. One thing I do wish; the samples take up 671Mb on disk and as far as I can tell haven't changed since the first release. This is most of the download size (728Mb) and they could surely be separated from the main code so that much smaller code updates could be made for download? Anyway, I tested the VST3 fix and it no longer hangs CbB in v2.0.7 when loading a project that uses it ?

Had it for ages, hardly used. I see a streaming session coming up ?

A mate was asking me the cheapest way to get Full Kontakt 6 and I recall the Drum mic'a crossgrade thing but does anyone know if that is still available? I had a look on the NI website but I keep going round in circles trying to find the current list of libraries that allow the crossgrade. Does anyone know? Thanks

Ah OK, thanks Matthew. Yes that seems to work. I guess that makes sense as the new additions are mainly related to MIDIbox, Jitterbox etc rather than new sample content. Although I'm also looking forward to the new add-on which is coming soon (Cloud City?). Now to explore!! I feel like a mad professor who has just made an important discovery

A little late but v1.1.2 is here today. It's on the Pluginguru webpage now if you bought it from there. If you bought from a 3rd party then you can still use the previous link that you received by email from ilio for the 1.0.12 update as this still works to obtain the v1.1.2 program file or wait for the official email from ilio.
