That's weird thanks for pointing it out. I will add that to my post to avoid confusion. Also I meant to say that my Product Portal also updated itself when I checked for an update. Product Portal is now on version 1.3.6b1 Win10|64.

Thanks Larry! EDIT2: As Larry pointed out you will get v1.8 via Product Portal. To get v1.9 download/install manually from https://www.izotope.com/en/products/vinyl.html (thanks @Promidi). Love the little easter egg/animation - click on 3 of the screws at each corner and the front panel will spin around revealing the authors and version number. Clicking on the final screw will remove the panel completely EDIT3: Now I have installed v1.9 which is very nice and much improved but the old easter egg is not there ? Prize for the first person to find a new easter egg.

I'm seeing the same as you TS, and nowadays on the new PC I only have v12 and v11 Waves plugins installed. I also now run CbB in manual scan mode and only scan when I have a new or updated plugin. I have also noticed though that v12 x64 Waveshell seems to pause for longer than the other Waveshells when scanned no matter which host it is (for me that's Studio One Pro 5, CbB and Cantabile).

audio plugin deals APD Offer: 90% Off Ascension + Expansions by WA Production
ZincT replied to Audio Plugin Deals's topic in Deals
I got this the last time it was on a deal and it's worth it for all of the MIDI patterns that come with it. -
Thanks Larry! @Mesh looks like Damage 2 is not included in this sale so the Heavyocity deal is the way to go right now or wait and see if anything better turns up for BF.

I think you are probably paying for the content rather than the synth. Looking at the content it's not like a traditional ROMpler but seems to mainly cover a lot of different synthesizers (kind of like Synth Anthology on the cheap). Zampler is based on Synapse Audio Dune except that the oscillator section is replaced with SFZ, the filter section is simplified and all unison stuff is removed.

One bit of good news I read for small IOS developers was about Apple lowering the store fees... https://www.macrumors.com/2020/11/18/apple-drops-app-store-fees/

No probs Larry! Then again Sugar Bytes often have sales around BF so I expect the situation will change soon
-
I think you can download these to try them out indefinitely but to obtain the full content is an IAP Larry. i.e. Drum Computer IAP is £25.99, Looperator, Aparillo and Factory £17.99 in the UK At least that's what it shows on my iPad right now.

To anyone who has installed Video Studio Ultimate 2020 and keeps getting popup adverts in the system tray just to let you know that you can disable this in Videostudio under Help --> Message Preferences.

I am pretty much at saturation and already splurged most of my BF funds on Omnisphere 2 (15% off) so I'll probably just be looking for the odd small thing like EZKeys or EZDrums addons.

Thanks I have corrected my post.

There's a crossgrade Mesh but that seems to be full price (for a crossgrade) which is £224. I wonder if that will drop to half price soon (£112) which might be worth waiting for. So that would make it $199 or around £150 with the current exchange rates.

Interesting. I have Damage 1 as part of K13U - does that count?

I liked the idea of it and bought it when it was on sale but haven't really used it much. The UI is a bit odd in how it works. The videos on the PluginBoutique will give you a fair indication of what to expect and you can also download a trial version. Here's a short snippet I made using one of the built-in Bach MIDI files. The bass and keyboard are using MIDI from ReMIDI, the rest are sample tracks. https://www.soundclick.com/music/songInfo.cfm?songID=13984146

Thanks Larry. I also had an update to Stradivari Violin (1.1.3) waiting after the Native Access update but there was no change log.

Yes pretty generous. It remains to be seen whether the update brings user friendliness with it! Part of the appeal is that it is so deep but with that complexity comes the need to spend time absorbing how it works and understanding all of the options. A lot of the tutorial videos in the past seem to have been made by enthusiastic users like these for v3 --> http://www.musicdevelopments.com/videos.html It's ironic that for "rapid" music creation I tend to turn to Captain Plugins or Orb Production Suite but I will remain hopeful. I notice that there seems to be some more user videos now under the Support -> Rapidcomposer website menu (Yildirin and HiEnergy) which I hadn't noticed before and might be worth checking out. I also hadn't see the video posted above by Matthew. Will be interested to see whether v4 has anything new in the way of tutorials in the coming months. What they need is someone like Eli Krantzberg to make an in-depth video on Groove 3. I can dream can't I?

Found this on KVR @Zo https://www.kvraudio.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=43&t=354654&p=7625887&hilit=Overloud#p7625887 Which looks like one fee for multiple licence transfers to the same account (Dated January 2020)

The lowest note ( C1?) on my 61 key controller played the kick drum from recollection.

Wow, that was fast Larry! I saw this post, then a couple of minutes later got the email. I reckon your brain must be directly wired to the Internet. ?
-
Yes, I know what you mean but I persevered and then realised that each preset had a number of patterns. There's a knob (ooer :) bottom left somewhere (sorry not near it at the moment) that switches between each pattern.

I thought it was OK for a freebie 909 emulator. The new Audiokit IOS one looks killer though and on £($) 2.99 intro if you are into iPad music apps.
-
Thanks Larry! Been waiting for this and I'm eligible for a free upgrade. I'm hoping the new version will be a bit more user friendly than the old!

Same here abacab! First synth I ever had was a CZ-101 which I bought in the 80s. It was so cute with its mini keys but I got rid of it a long time ago........

I just need to be able to play keyboard like him now (couldn't find an emoji for dreaming).
