Sweetwater Daily Deal - UAD 1176 Collection for $19.95!
jude77 replied to Larry Shelby's topic in Deals
That's a really good price, but i don't need it since I have a zillion 1176's. But it's a really good price. And since when did "need' figure in any plugin purchase? I'm getting it! After all it's a really good price . . . . -
These folks have unique and unusual instruments https://www.rhythmicrobot.com/hot-deals?mc_cid=83efd48f16&mc_eid=2e4bf73ef6 Dear Friend of Rhythmic Robot, The Winter Sale is here – up to 50% off! Frostily festive seasonal savings... ho ho ho! Yep, it's that time of year again, and Mongo has decked the lab with twinkling patch cables and hung up stockings next to the mixing desk. Indeed. I thought we'd heard the last from them. Glad to see they're still kicking.

Early happy christmass And please thinking on me once

Covid can be tough stuff, but we're thinking about you and wishing the very best! Hopefully, you'll be home in time to celebrate Christmas with all your family and friends. -
Excellent point. I'm a retired psychologist and the term we all remember from psych 101 is "Intermittent Reinforcement". It results in a behavior that's the devil to break. I know, because plugins have introduced it into my life. "I have all the plugins I need. I do. But wait, this one has fairy dust on it. I know it will make my vocals sound better. I know it will". And this poor rat keeps pushing the $29 lever because every once in a while a food pellet drops out. Have mercy! But there's good news: in January the after Christmas sales will start!

BF IR Loaders - I'm tempted but ask myself why buy an IR loader?
jude77 replied to Doug Steinschneider's topic in Deals
I saw this when you mentioned it in the "Show us your booty" thread so I've been demoing it. While it might be a bit pricey, IMHO it's the one to beat. It's pretty full-featured. My favorite part is when you want to try out an IR you just drag and drop it. Voila, there it is. No menus, no folder searches, no fuss. It's really well thought out and implemented. -
You have no idea . . . For a while after college I lived in New Orleans. Once (and only once) you need to go to Mardi Gras. For about 24 everything is legal. It's a strange time.

I'm listening right now. Well done!

This looks fascinating. It makes me wonder what developers will do next. I think we're on the cusp of a an era where where the type, and functionality, of plugins will only be limited by human imagination. It's an exciting time!

Only about 2 more weeks to go: this year's combined Black Friday/Cyber Monday sale period will run from November 17th all the way until December 7th! There will be 40 percent off everything, be it individual plugins, bundles, for desktop or for iOS... everything must go. The minions are already working tirelessly day and night to fill up the shelves with brand new copies of all DDMF products so that the sale can start with full force and right on time. https://ddmf.eu/ IMHO Plugin doctor and Metaplugin are good utilities worth a look.

Ooops! I meant to post this in the Deals Section. Sorry. Maybe someone will still find it helpful here. We're in good hands while Larry cruises the Bering Strait.

Or the perennial favorite "Asafoetida", also known as "Devil's Dung".

Those Waves people are really innovative. I bet next they'll come up with something like a subscription.

The nail just got hit square on the head. It's a hard pass for me too.
-
The demos sound very impressive.
-
Don't think of it in terms of "need" think of it in terms of "But look how many plugins I have now!" It's all a matter of perspective.

When I first looked at the price I thought it said £383.80. Then I realized the painful truth.

I don't fell like I should vote because the only one I'm aware of is Audacity. Like Pavlov's Cat, I hope this poll will expose more people to more DAWs, myself included.
