  1. I couldn't get the code to work! Yikes, I must be doing something wrong. I'm inserting the code at the "use vocher" space at checkout. Is that right?
  2. That's a really good price. I think I got it about a year ago for $29.
  3. I don't know the first thing about Reason, and all Reason instruments may only work in that eco-system, but if they work in other daws this may be worth looking at: https://www.reasonstudios.com/shop/rack-extension/combo-electric-harpsichord/?channel=paid_search&subchannel=cpc&campaign=403049746
  4. https://www.rhythmicrobot.com/q-up-arts-corner?mc_cid=73c30bd8d9&mc_eid=2e4bf73ef6 Yet more savings, this time in the Q Up Arts section of the store, where there's a massive 25% off all instruments. Whether you're looking to lace your tracks with a little Latin groove, get real drummer feel courtesy of the Steve Gadd Drumscores, or try out one of the seriously impressive acoustic piano instruments, they're all available at a very neat saving.
  5. Let us know your impressions after you do.
  6. Thanks for taking the time to do that, I appreciate it.
  7. I got an email this morning where Waves is offering 5 plugins for $90. On a "per-plugin" basis it looks like they finally broke the $19 barrier. However, after the subscription fiasco I will not be tempted!
  8. https://www.wavesfactory.com/?mc_cid=37300ae9db&mc_eid=91e66c4b27 30% OFF on audio plugins and sample libraries for Kontakt Meet our new plugin Equalizer, we think you'll love it! Personally, I have Trackspacer and Sharine and find them both to be useful and a great value, especially when they're on sale.

  10. That page is new to me, thanks!
  11. You make a really good point here. Since Tonex/NAM type of amp modeling arrived I've wondered what the future of developers like Nembrini is. You have a very interesting idea about going the boutique direction. I hope he (and the others) are making plans for the future because I really like his stuff.
  12. When you've had a chance to compare them please come back and let us know what you think.
  13. Satya, It's good to see you back. I hadn't noticed you posting in a while and got a bit concerned.

  15. You did a GREAT job with the song!! Thanks for doing it. I hope there's a way Larry can hear it so he can see how much love and support he has here. I don't know what happened with Larry, but I hope things can get worked out. He was already a legend on this forum when I joined, which was probably around 15 years ago.

  17. I read the thread that the OP links to in his post. Gee, Vocoflex's request for ID'ing users seems reasonable to me. I don't have any problem sending a copy of my passport and driver's license to people I don't know. I think I'll include my social security number for good measure. Oh, my goodness!
  18. I always appreciate these types of comments because they're made by real-world users and not "influencers", so you know you're getting honest opinions and not the thoughts of someone who's looking for clicks. Thanks!
  19. https://blackroosteraudio.com/en/products/omnitec-436c The OmniTec-436C Vintage Vari-Mu Compressor plug-in is the perfect tool to add that luscious, velvety vintage tone to your mixes. Inspired by the famous tube compressors of the 1950's, the OmniTec-436C has a highly musical quality that brings a silky smooth sound to your tracks, without ever overpowering a mix. Our latest vintage vari-mu compressor plug-in draws inspiration from the legendary Altec 436C tube compressor, renowned for its dynamic range and vintage warmth. Originally introduced in the 1950s, the 436C was quickly embraced by top producers for its versatile parametrization and its highly musical output. This iconic compressor's innovative circuit and distinctive sound went on to inspire other famous compressors, including the Fairchild and Manley vari-mu units. This iconic piece of gear has a long list of impressive credits, such as legendary producer Geoff Emerick of Abbey Road Studios. He made use of the Altec 436C to lay the groundwork for many hugely significant recordings, including those of The Beatles, Herb Albert, and Frank Sinatra. The 436C then went on to establish itself in pop music studios across the US and Europe. The OmniTec-436C plug-in flawlessly emulates the best features of this vintage compressor while modernizing them with our signature Black Rooster Audio twist; offering additional side chain filters, a dual mono/stereo link, limit mode and SC listen mode.
  20. Thanks for posting that, it gave me some good leads.
  21. @dubdisciple This was very helpful and informative. Plugin Doctor's All Seeing Eye tells the truth even when our confirmation bias doesn't! Thanks for posting.
