I'm thinking you're right. Not quite the surprise I was hoping for, but at least it indicates that AD2 is still in some type of development. Maybe one day we may actually see a version 3.

That would be me. At first I was a bit suspicious of AI infused plugins, but now that I've started using them I see that in nearly every case they're smarter than I am. I'll be very interested to see where it goes over the coming years.

Using PluginDoctor has been a HUGE eye opener for me. You learn a loooooot about plugins.

VOS does some really nice plugins and deserve a look if you're not familiar with them.

FWIW I picked this up a few years ago and it really is a very helpful tool to get you started with a mix. It's easy to use and 33% of the time it will give you very good results, 33% of the time it will get you close enough that with a little tweaking you'll have a solid mix, and about 33% of the time it will give you something that might be best described as "interesting".

At this price this is a great deal. As @Vernon Barnes said, "No brainer territory".
