Not bad for the price. They have a weird system with the samples (which have to be reinstalled) though.

I'm using a cheap SilentiumPC Fera 3 HE1224 cooler and an old 450W PSU with my Ryzen 5900X & 1060 and haven't had any problems. I rarely do something that needs a lot of cores though. One option would be to use the old Windows 10 drive and update to Windows 11 right away. I think that'd be basically a clean install.

I think it's cool that they're offering licensed Kontakt libraries for free. I think they're the only company who does this.
-
You have to download them from the user area on the website. Click the wrong zip/dmg button. https://www.ikmultimedia.com/userarea/my-products/
-
It's probably why they have to limit sound downloads. People download terabytes of wrong files every day. ?
-
I was wondering why I got dmg files. Looks like the zip buttons on the resources page download dmg files and vice versa.

When I try to load the 3-month Komplete trial page I get "You are not authorized to access this page." Is it working for anyone? (I'm logged in and the Lo-Fi GLOW page worked.)

I think you'll be fine for longer than that unless you want to do something extreme. Just get a new GPU when the prices get more reasonable. I also got a Ryzen 9 5900X and an ASUS TUF GAMING X570-PLUS with 32 GB of DDR4 a year ago. My GPU is a 1060 that I bought used years ago.

Those are just "new" products. They're the same for everyone, doesn't matter if you're logged in.
-
No. Only the products that are listed here qualify: https://www.ikmultimedia.com/trgb2022/
-
I'm sure they're getting a lot of new customers who would never have spent any money on IKM products without these GBs.
-
They advertise Soundpaint on the 8Dio front page, but it looks like the code only works on 8Dio products.
-
With those 100 points you can get Sonic Forest, Sonic Ocean, Interplanetary, Tetralogy, Kazakh Dombra or Furia Staccato Strings. Or 5% off your next order.
-
Signature Piano is great, but if you want something that doesn't require Kontakt try Soundpaint pianos. Soundpaint is free (it works with Cakewalk or standalone) and they have a free piano and others that cost $40-$50. https://soundpaint.com/collections/piano

You can still use Play, if that's what you mean.
-
There's a free 30 day Composercloud trial so you can try out everything the have. Opus supports downloading individual instruments/articulations.
-
$25 if you own the Kontakt version.

They're based on different synths. You should have enough promotion slots to choose both.
-
Looks like the final Promotions slot is working now.
-
The last hours have been a bit slower than I expected. Still 26 left. 1-2 more hours.
-
The Promotions page is still down. Just 80 left to 3000. I think we'll reach it in a few hours.
-
It's just the Promotions page I think.
