I don't have either but 3 has 99,281 samples, 430 instruments and 12,229 loops & phrases. 2 has 66,460 samples, 369 instruments and 10,584 loops & phrases. Apparently both use FLAC lossless encoding. Maybe they just used a better compression level. Or shorter samples.

I forgot to mention that IMO Musio has the best bang/buck ratio currently. They're selling Musio 1 (perpetual license) for $199. You get a huge collection of high quality libraries. Strings, woodwinds, brass, percussion, drums, choirs, synths, world instruments, pianos, organs... All libraries are currently less than 300 GB, and you can download what you want within the plugin. No, dragging is the only thing you can do. (The presets are stored in a .db file which can be edited in another program but it's probably simpler and faster just to drag them in TH-U.)
