It is a good autohotkey candidate. The entire process could be scripted and added to the CbB Utilties menu.

There is no hard limit on the number of clips CbB can import. Sometimes a clip appears not to import and no error message is displayed. Often the clip is imported far to the right on the timeline. This is because the clip is a broadcast wave, Always Import Broadcast Wave at Their Timestamp is enabled (this is default) and the clip has a timestamp placing it far down the timeline.

For all tracks or buses, Clear all selections Open the audio export dialog either from the Export Module Advanced... option or from File > Export > Audio To export all tracks set the Source Category to Tracks, enter a file name and click Export. Set the Source Category to buses to export all buses. This will create 1 audio clip each starting at 0 for all tracks and/or buses

No I played around with BandLab but have no real use for it. CbB works for my needs.

Chrome can use ASIO, this one reason BandLab initially required Chrome to run the DAW. Still ASIO does nothing for network performance.

Maybe Feel free to search the old forum The subject came up more than a few times Don't recall any posts about this from users running CbB.

[CLOSED] Cakewalk 2020.04 Early Access 1
scook replied to Morten Saether's topic in Early Access Program
No, it does not prevent the marker from being manually moved. it changes the marker from using M:B:T to SMPTE time. -
[CLOSED] Cakewalk 2020.04 Early Access 1

There is another way to use the arranger, as a collection of non-overlapping informational markers. Tracks may ignore arranger sections by setting the Arranger Exclude option in the track properties inspector. If all tracks are excluded, the arranger sections are just colored markers that can serve as navigation aids that contain readable text about the section. I wonder if a separate "marker track" is in CbB's future. -

How to unstick an unwanted MIDI patch?
scook replied to Michael McBroom's topic in Cakewalk by BandLab
Are you changing the instrument in TTS-1 UI? If not give it a try. If there is only one track going to TTS-1 there is no need for track channel, bank or patch assignments. If there are multiple tracks going to an instance of TTS-1 all the tracks or MIDI clips need are channel assignments. A rabbit hole I would not go down -
Newest version doesn't work on Windows 7?
scook replied to Resonant Serpent's topic in Cakewalk by BandLab
The 2020.04 EA Announcement seems clear to me For the EA release there is a rollback option. -
Not really, it is newer than the previous release. Any date on or after Tungsten seems reasonable.

To switch ASIO drivers Deselect all inputs and outputs in Audio preferences Then select the I/O driver to use ASIO permits only one driver to be used at a time It might be a good idea to uninstall ASIO4All if possible. It has been know to cause problems when a factory driver is installed. There should be only one ASIO driver per-device installed on the PC. Having ASIO4All installed makes it appear there are multiple ASIO drivers for all devices that have a manufacturer supplied ASIO driver.

Anybody have a copy of Cakewalk's Studio Instruments Strings?
scook replied to Dreamer's topic in Cakewalk by BandLab
AFAIK Studio Instruments was sold separately but never given away for free. Studio Instruments was bundled with many versions SONAR including SONAR 8.5 Producer. Run an advanced install of SONAR to select individual plug-in(s). -
The only difference between recording a 2 channel track and splitting it into 2 mono tracks and recording 2 mono track is the additional step of splitting the 2 channel track I maintain the best approach is the one that takes the fewest steps. This is why I wrote

I suppose it could be. Maybe the AntiVirus software is blocking writes. Makes sure the AV software is skipping the project folders.
-
It is a write failure without a specific error message. Sometimes toggling the transport on/off will let the save happen. Sometimes "Save As" works when Save does not.
