    Storage /Memory Problems

Maybe Feel free to search the old forum The subject came up more than a few times Don't recall any posts about this from users running CbB.
  2. Please edit the OP and add [Solved] to the subject thanks
  3. Are you changing the instrument in TTS-1 UI? If not give it a try. If there is only one track going to TTS-1 there is no need for track channel, bank or patch assignments. If there are multiple tracks going to an instance of TTS-1 all the tracks or MIDI clips need are channel assignments. A rabbit hole I would not go down
  4. The 2020.04 EA Announcement seems clear to me For the EA release there is a rollback option.
  5. Not really, it is newer than the previous release. Any date on or after Tungsten seems reasonable.
  6. To switch ASIO drivers Deselect all inputs and outputs in Audio preferences Then select the I/O driver to use ASIO permits only one driver to be used at a time It might be a good idea to uninstall ASIO4All if possible. It has been know to cause problems when a factory driver is installed. There should be only one ASIO driver per-device installed on the PC. Having ASIO4All installed makes it appear there are multiple ASIO drivers for all devices that have a manufacturer supplied ASIO driver.
  7. Currently a rollback installer is provided for the 2040.04 Early Access program only
  8. AFAIK Studio Instruments was sold separately but never given away for free. Studio Instruments was bundled with many versions SONAR including SONAR 8.5 Producer. Run an advanced install of SONAR to select individual plug-in(s).
  9. The only difference between recording a 2 channel track and splitting it into 2 mono tracks and recording 2 mono track is the additional step of splitting the 2 channel track I maintain the best approach is the one that takes the fewest steps. This is why I wrote
  10. CTRL+L is the groove clip toggle Groove clips have beveled edges like the clip on the right in this image
  11. One way to do this today is - save the project as a MIDI file, create a csv file using MIDICSV from the MIDI file load the csv file into a spreadsheet program
  12. The devices shown on the driver settings preferences are the result of selections made on the devices page and driver mode on the Playback and Recording page in preferences
  13. When a feature appears missing check your workspace setting

    Storage /Memory Problems

I suppose it could be. Maybe the AntiVirus software is blocking writes. Makes sure the AV software is skipping the project folders.

    Storage /Memory Problems

It is a write failure without a specific error message. Sometimes toggling the transport on/off will let the save happen. Sometimes "Save As" works when Save does not.
  16. CbB reports the devices based on the what Windows makes available and the driver mode in preferences. Are the headphones identified as a separate audio device in Windows? There may be something holding on to the old Windows setting. Reboot, verify the Windows sample rate and start CbB.
  17. I am not a BandLab employee and prefer not to speculate on future development.
  18. Some were not seeing PC Presets There is an updated installer in the thread linked in the OP run the rollback then run the new installer to get the presets
  19. Open Windows Settings > System > Sound Click on Device properties under Output Click on Additional device properties under Related Settings Click on the Advanced Tab to see the bit depth - sample rate drop down
  20. The difference between FX on and FX off is plug-in delay compensation needed to keep everything in sync based on the latency reported by plug-ins in the project. Blue screens usually indicate a hardware or driver problem.
  21. Running everything though a master bus prevents a lot of surprises mostly to do with the mix level and exporting. So, this is about an audio clip in an audio track where Cakewalk has focus Windows and Cakewalk are running at the same sample rate.
  22. Not sure if this rules out plug-ins. Bypassing all plug-ins is an easy test for PDC related issues. To bypass all plug-ins in the project click the FX button in the Mix Module May also want to experiment Live Input PDC override using the PDC button also in the Mix Module.
