  1. It is the BandLab account setup by Cakewalk. The tip jar which offered premiums was taken down some time ago. The account has a regular user tip jar now. I don't believe they have anything for sale ATM but you could PM one of the staff for a definitive answer.
  2. Not an expert but....here is something to try Add Jamstix to the project Add Superior Drummer to the project, set the instrument/MIDI input to Jamstix and enable input echo In the Jamstix UI Click on Kit Load the MIDI Out template from @Special Kits To the right of the kit Load/Save buttons are two drop downs to select maps for drums and percussion. Select one of the predefined maps or create your own. Regardless you will likely have to do some mapping either in Jamstix, the drum synth or DAW to get everything setup. Of course, you will need to setup the rest of Jamstix, above covers how to get JS4 to talk to another drum synth.
  3. Code c000000000005 errors are not the same as The error Noel posted about looks like The c000000000005 errors are not install errors. They are runtime errors. The offending software should be noted in the error message.
  4. Here is one way... Change the tempo from 160 to 80 Select all notes In the Duration entry in the Event Inspector enter 50% to half the length of the notes.
  5. In the track view, an instrument track does not display the audio gain control, it displays MIDI velocity (note Vel+ above the slider). An instrument track inspector strip gain knob adjusts audio gain from the Audio tab and velocity from the MIDI tab.
  6. When everything is going through the master bus, there should be no difference between exporting the "Master Bus" and "Entire Mix" And if the "Mix Enables" on the export dialog are all selected (except for mutually exclusive options Fast/Audible Bounce and 64bit Engine) the levels should not need to be adjusted any differently than playing the project.
  7. One cause of unexpected levels on export is not using a master bus. Make sure all the audio ultimately goes through one bus. AFAIK, all the project templates provided in CbB have a master bus set up. If you start projects without using one of the supplied templates create a master bus before adding any tracks to the project. This is done by adding a bus, right-clicking on the bus header and selecting "Set as Default Bus" The same may be done to existing project. Then select all the audio and instrument tracks, hold down the CTRL key and select the master bus in a the track output. This will set all the tracks to the master. If track outputs are set to a bus, leave them. The bus will get routed in the next step. Route any other bus outputs to the master bus.
  8. Capturing and submitting a hang dump to support may help diagnose the cause See
  9. You can't move threads but a mod can, You can PM one of them or modify the subject to request the move.
  10. Having prior versions of SONAR installed I have no idea what a clean install of CbB looks like. Can you provide more specifics about what is installed, such as fully qualified file names. There should be no SD3 files installed. There are sfz files and samples installed with Drum Replacer. These look a lot like SD3 content. There are sfz files and samples installed for SI-Drums too.
  11. Clip colors may be set in the clip properties inspector
  12. I have not looked at it but a user posted a revised legato CAL on the old forum. The file is still available.
  13. Really should avoid 32bit plug-ins. Synths that process audio are added to the FX rack of the audio/instrument track. An additional MIDI must be added to the project if the synth needs MIDI data. Any plug-ins that can receive MIDI data show up in a MIDI track's output drop down. That said, there are two dlls supplied with Cyntha. One is the FX version. This is the version I would use in an audio/instrument FX rack. Just like the synth plug-in, the FX accepts MIDI data, however; because it scans as a effect, it does not have "Enable MIDI Input" turned on by default. To turn on "Enable MIDI Input" on effects plug-ins like Cynthia FX, click on the VST2/3 drop down in the standard header and select the option. When 32bit plug-ins are loaded by BitBridge, the standard header is in a separate window. To see the standard header hold down the ALT key when opening the plug-in UI. Usually the header window opens behind the main plug-in UI. The icon indicates the audio track has a soft synth as its input.
  14. There are several videos about TTS-1 in the Tutorial area Have you viewed them?
  15. On the left is the Track inspector showing an instrument track MIDI tab. On the right is the Piano Roll View. The grey section containing the note names/numbers, mute and solo buttons under the PRV View menu is the Note Map Pane. The area to the right of it containing MIDI data is the Drum Map Pane.
  16. Try right-clicking on the button to bring up the Select options. The popup menu hangs around long enough to click on a new setting.
  17. The images help. The drum map manager shows a drum map with all notes routed to the first instance of TTS-1 in the project. The track image shows Track 1 - an audio track Track 2 - a MIDI track Track 3 - an instrument track w/ TTS-1 loaded (based on the label) Track 4 - an instrument track /w some synth loaded (SI-Drums?). When using instrument tracks usually extra MIDI tracks are not necessary. An instrument track is a combination of a MIDI track and an audio track presenting the MIDI track input controls and the audio track output controls. When creating/modifying a drum map for an instrument track try using the MIDI output drop down on the MIDI tab in the track inspector for the instrument track. This will automatically populate the drum map Out Port for the appropriate synth. Once the basic map is defined before making any changes to the note assignments often it is easiest to record a few notes from each pad on the controller. Then looking at the result in the Drum Grid Pane in the PRV make the appropriate note assignments in the map using the Note Map Pane to the left of the Drum Grid Pane. Once done with editing, save the drum map as a preset in the Drum Map Manager.
  18. It is not a bug. When a clip is added to a project, data about the clip is stored in the project. Changing the sample rate of a clip already referenced in the project does not cause the DAW to alter this data. In addition to the problem illustrated above, changing clip sample rates without import breaks audio snap. AFAIK, improved project sample rate change is on the "to do" list.
  19. https://www.autohotkey.com/docs/commands/MouseGetPos.htm you're welcome
  20. Yeah, this looks like an autohotkey application. Of course, ahk knows the current mouse position so it could, given the mouse is in the right place, create a key binding to load, setup and apply a plug-in. Something CbB key bindings and CAL cannot do
  21. No but they among the worst when it comes to letting users know when their products are updated. Which reminds me, it is time to check the Eventide site for updates.
  22. The registry entries are still there. The clean install instructions detail which entries need to be deleted.
