The plug-ins bundled with CbB are documented It may take a clean install to recover the plug-ins bundled in the core as they are likely not in the update installers. Alternately, apply a couple of rollback installers then run an update from BA. It should use a full installer instead of an update installer. support@cakewalk.com should no for sure.

CbB has never followed a monthly release cycle. There was an early access release announced today B

Is the scanner setup to run automatically or was a manual scan performed? PC modules must be scanned like any VST plug-in. The default install path for the PC-2A is "C:\Program Files\Cakewalk\Shared Utilities\Internal\PC2ALevelingAmplifier" -
Cakewalk always records the signal at the track input. If the track is recording data from other tracks in the DAW along with the new signal coming from outside the DAW then something outside the DAW is mixing the data and sending it to the track being recorded in Cakewalk. IOW, an external hardware mixer or a software mixer used by the audio interface is mixing the new input and the signal coming from the DAW and sending it back to the DAW. WRT adjusting monitor playback level, this depends on where the signals are coming from. When direct monitoring, there is usually a knob on the interface or a software mixer supplied with the interface to adjust the level of the direct signal and the signal coming from the DAW. When monitoring everything through the DAW the playback levels are set in the DAW.

The LCV works with any audio clip. By default double-clicking a clip opens the Clip Properties inspector (the Groove Clip section is immediately below Clip Properties) This may be changed to open the LCV using the Track View Options menu - Click Behavior > Double Click > Audio Clips
-
Select the clip then open the Loop Construction View or change the "Beats in Clip" in the Groove Clips section in the Clips Inspector.

Decrypting output drop down labels is a little different than reading a product name directly from an image. The language barrier makes this thread a little challenging. If the OP was successful 10 years ago with the same gear, the signal routing is no different today than it was then. Given the interface has two channels, it should be possible to record guitar and monitor a hardware synth at the same time. Assuming this the problem reported in the OP, the answer may be as simple as setting the recording track to the guitar channel instead of using both channels to record. I have never seen the interface. It may be the effects blend the two channels. If this is the case, it will be necessary to record without using the effects.

Yeah, monophonic drag and drop audio to MIDI and tempo detection both continue to work after the trial expires.

Google Drive converting cwb into wav???
scook replied to Jesse Miller's topic in Cakewalk by BandLab
Is Google really converting the files or is it recognizing they are RIFF files containing audio data? It has always been possible to change the extension from cwb to wav an play a bundle file. If the bundles have a wav extension change them back to cwb Once the extension is changed back to cwb, open the bundles, zip up each project folder and its content, copy the zips to Google drive and throw away the bundles. Bundles are a poor choice for archiving projects. The format is still around for backward compatibility and project sharing (although zip works for this too). -
Not sure where you are trying to attach the files. There is a section in the link above called Sending the dump file to Cakewalk for analysis offering suggestions on where to upload the files. Zipping dumps often significantly reduces their size.

If there is no crash dump to submit to support, look in the Windows event log to see if there is any indication of the crash.

Save CWP as MIDI Format 1 cause the effects setting set to default value
scook replied to Tuan Hoang's question in Q&A
@Morten Saether please add this to http://www.cakewalk.com/Documentation?product=Cakewalk&language=3&help=INI_Files.5.html -
Feel free to send the dump to Cakewalk support Bear in mind the error message indicates the plug-in is the source of the crash so this is likely something Spectrasonics needs to review.

Yes, I have seen this problem before and is the read I mentioned the path in my first post and not the button on the UI. On my current system (US Windows 10 20H2), the help button works OK

I can't say if this is the case. It was the easiest place I found to scan for changes to Take lanes.
