  1. OK, if I understand, what you are wanting is information on how to setup sidechains in CbB and Channel Routing in SPAN. After adding SPAN to bus or aux track (or even a regular audio track), the sidechain inputs to the plug-in show up in track/bus sends and main outputs. One track has a send to the bus or aux track hosting SPAN (if not on a regular track). Send the other tracks to the 3 sidechain inputs to the SPAN. Of course any number of tracks may be summed and sent to SPAN's main or sidechain inputs too. Click the Routing button in the SPAN UI to display the Channel Routing dialog and assign In3 through In8 to the sidechain inputs This will allow viewing two groups; one as the main display next to the Routing button and another as the Underlay Is this what you are looking for?
  2. AFAIK, SPAN works on one track at a time Multi-track require SPAN Pro The Vogengo descriptions are a little confusing as both support This is not the same as multiple tracks. Note the additional info in the SPAN Pro description (emphasis added)
  3. The image is pretty small but everything looks OK in the drum map, however; if you are expecting the plug-in to make a sound using MIDI input, the input echo button must be enabled on the track. It is the button to the right of the record button.
  4. Starting with 2021.04, a similar function is on the tempo track header
  5. There is a bit depth setting in the Audio Export dialog. In the past if this was set to high, some players would fail.
  6. I have not used Windows players in some time but if I had to guess... Export bit depth?
  7. Spring reverb... CbB includes one. It is part of the multi-effects suite called TH3 along with a lot of other effects with fairly flexible routing options. I suspect it is easily overlooked being hidden in an amp sim.
  8. None that I recall. I believe Cakewalk bundled the original Stutter Edit in a SONAR promotion years ago.
  9. Kind of a drag the base octave setting is global without an ability to override at the plug-in or track level. Maybe it will be part of the new note names feature.
  10. Autohotkey works fine with CbB. This workflow is close to a spec for the script. Select a track, start the script Read the directory or a text file containing the file names. If the names are not easily ordered in the directory, use a text file, Loop through the names, Run the import dialog Populate the prompts and send OK send CTRL-End
  11. Do you have any experience with scripting or programming? If so, autohotkey may provide a solution.
  12. This is unnecessary. It is just another generic ASIO wrapper for native Windows drivers. The Windows native WASAPI driver included with Win10 is OK, it does not need the additional ASIO wrapper.
  13. From the top of the page linked above
  14. Duplicating audio tracks without effects should cancel each other when the phase is flipped on one of the tracks.
  15. If there are plug-ins on the tracks, there may be some randomizing happening in the plug-ins.
  16. To default new audio/instrument track output to a bus, right-click the bus and enable "Set as Default Bus"
  17. While additional routing options would be nice, it is fairly easy to distribute MIDI data in a track to as many instrument and MIDI tracks as desired with each downstream track having control over volume, pan, CC and other automatable parameters. The client tracks may also apply any MFX, articulation or drum map to the incoming data. And, if preferred, hide all the downstream tracks so that the whole group is represented by the master track. This track can host the automation for all the synths and their UIs may be accessed using the synth rack. Not being a fan of linked clips, I used to rely on a virtual MIDI cable. They have a couple of problems: too easy to create feedback loops some add noticeable latency Now I use a plug-in to send MIDI data. To that end, I create an instrument track using a MIDI plug-in like one of the Code FN42 plug-ins (such as MIDIChFilter, MIDIChFilter or VeloScaler) or similar. Sometimes, the chain starts with a MIDI generator plug-in. This plug-in appears at the input of all other instrument and MIDI tracks. Set their input, enable input echo and the synth is linked to the master track. (Note: I did not plan on replying to this thread, however; several alternatives have already been mentioned, this needed to be documented).
  18. Are you using it as a Region FX or as a regular VST3 plug-in. It will not work as the latter and is why the plug-in is hidden by default.
  19. I have the original Stutter Edit. Waiting for the $5 upgrade.
  20. Base Octave for Pitches
  21. Plug-ins that load from a shell must be scanned every time. I believe those using these types of plug-ins run scans manually as needed.

Please do not cross post this again You are asking the wrong people. The fix must come from Softube.
  23. Likely being overridden by the Workspace setting. Create a custom workspace or set it to None
  24. The Realtek ASIO driver is not suitable for DAW use. If you want to save the entry for some reason, export it before deleting it. Then delete the Realtek entry and startup CbB
