I will check out the free trial. I do have a lot of multiFX such as Dawsome Love, and Arturia Efx FRAGMENTS. I was just wondering if this brought anything new to the table. It does look like the random feature that is the highlight, not the tweaking. The description on the United Plugins' site does say: Don't bother editing Intentionally, the basic editing is limited to dry/wet mix of each element and changing their order. If you don't like what you get, simply hit the random button again, and don't waste your time. So not for sound designers or tweakers.

So what is the plugin like ?

MeldaProduction Users: Check e-mail / licenses for possible freebie

Even though the vocalist is the same, Sahara Gold focuses on Ethnic / Middle-Eastern styles including over 8000 inspiring middle eastern vocal phrases and middle-eastern true legato. Atlantis III does not have this focus.

Maybe, or it might be that 39.99 is close enough to 40 to qualify. Only time will tell. But not holding my breath.
-
Not saying it isn't lame, but at least for the $25 voucher, it was rare you could find anything in the $32-$40 range. So unless I am mistaken, with the current prices on the website, the effective minimum spend is already $40.

Noted. I can think of many worse things (or was that hyperbole?). We live in a multicultural world where even people who even speak the same language will interpret the same phrase differently based on their cultural backgrounds and values. But now that I know where you are coming from, it will help to read your posts in a different light. I do agree that it is stupid to think that every negative opinion is harmful. We need/I need those contrary opinions. I am also confident in my opinions but I don't hold on to them so tightly that they can't be changed. I am sorry now for my "statement of fact" post. I obviously misread you. In the end, all I really wanted to say was that I found value in some of VSTBuzz's offerings where you found none. Let's leave it a that.

Yes, wave at me as you pass by Vancouver.

Guess my opinion and sarcasm detectors are malfunctioning today as well. I obviously did think otherwise. I do agree with you that alternative viewpoints are important. And thus I gave an alternative viewpoint to jngnz. I hope you can respect that. I also hope I am not one who retreats to corners and tribalism. I truly have no time for people who live in echo chambers.

Not a new product. Look at the reviews on the linked page. They are from 2010.

I also have MComplete and don't need my MUnison license key. PM me if you want it. Gone! That was quick.

@PavlovsCat, I have no problem with people stating their negative opinions, especially if they state why they don't like something, or find something deficient. That benefits everyone because it provides alternative points of view to help people decide if a product is for them and if they can live with or don't care about the deficiencies. What I object to are blanket statements with nothing backing them up. Maybe jngnz was trying to be funny, and my humour detector is broken today, but to me there is a big difference between "I love how consistently bad these are so I never have to buy anything." and "I love how I never find anything on VSTBuzz that appeals to me so I never have to buy anything". I read jngnz's statement as purporting to be a statement of fact, not opinion, so I provided a counterpoint. I guess I need to learn that all statements on this forum are opinions and should be taken with a grain of salt.

They aren't all bad. I have bought a couple of UJAM instruments, Melda plugins and Ben Osterhouse instruments over the years from VSTBuzz. Ya gotta dig through the dirt to find the gems but sometimes it is worth it. The Melda plugins alone helped get me MComplete at a fraction of the cost. Just because they are not your cup of tea does not make them bad.

I got an upgrade for Union. The new plugin is called WaveOSC and the coupon was for $9. I also got upgrades for Hiku to Exceed, Ravage Lite to DriveLE, and Velo 2 to PeakLimit. -

Looks like they are reskinned SoundSpot plugins. I received an upgrade email that contained the following info: -

Ghosted By Plugin Alliance [very much, not a deal]
Doug Rintoul replied to PavlovsCat's topic in Deals
All vouchers used to be personal and were based on the amount you spent on PA plugins in the previous 12 months. You used to get only one voucher, not a $25 and a $50 or $75 voucher. PA then switch the $25 voucher to a generic one and it seemed that everyone on the mailing list got one but the $50 and $75 vouchers were still unique. Looks like that started in January 2022. Now it appears that they have switched the $25 back to a personalized voucher and are basing it on the amount you spent in the previous 12 months. I received the $25 voucher. I had spent $103 on PA in the last 12 months. -
Yes, and obviously you did not click the button.

Because the free version is no longer being developed?
-
Where do you read that? The only free ready to run download I can find is for Linux. There is a free/demo version available, but it goes silent after 10 minutes so that does not count.
-
Well, I received my refund notification today. Not surprised. What does sting a little bit, is I lost money on the deal because of the exchange rate. Granted, it was only $.63 CAD but still! Just glad it was not a large purchase.
-
I have not received this notice yet...is there still hope? I doubt it.

If it is good enough for Shakespeare, it should be good enough for us. Dost thou not suspect my place? Dost thou not suspect my years? O that he were here to write me down an @ss! But masters, remember that I am an @ss. Though it be not written down, yet forget not that I am an @ss. Dogberry in Much Ado About Nothing (IV.ii.67–78).
