  1. Nope. It isn't Cakewalk, it's something in your settings.
  2. Cakewalk isn't meant to be a video editor. The video track is there for those who are scoring to picture. I suggest you would save yourself a lot of trouble by using an actual video editor for rendering
  3. Really not funny at a time like this.
  4. Oh, how quick some people are to make stupid comments before even asking what type of trouble shooting someone has done. Because you know, looking to see if there are thousands of markers is "the most basic troubleshooting" Well played. Oh, well since you didn't bother to mention any the myriad troubleshooting steps you took I can only assume You didn't take any. Because that's how most people who join the forum just prior to complaining about how "Cakewalk don't work" roll.
  5. Well, damn. Thanks for the comments and for pointing that out! I wonder what the hell happened? It wasn't supposed to be like that. I must have gotten ahold of some bad crack or something. Yeah, I'm gonna have to redo that....
  6. Yes, it is. Plug the headphones into the headphone output of your interface.
  7. Oh, how quick some people are to automatically blame the software before they do any of the most basic troubleshooting.
  8. This would probably get more traction in the instruments and effects section.
  9. Smells like Bovine Excrement to me. I'd buy the "technical issue" explanation.
  10. Another dark, moody, cinematic piece along the lines of Prelude to Armageddon. Really bizarre that the censors at YouTube age restricted this when network TV shows worse. First thing I have been able to complete since becoming afflicted with arthritis and having to completely rework my picking technique. Remixed Video contains footage of war, natural disasters, etc with a brief view of corpses.
  11. Spitfire's plugin is pretty lean. When using libraries of this size and scope, the footprint of the plugin itself is comparatively inconsequential
  12. I think you misunderstood what I was talking about. There is no " constantly rendering mixes." You lay down all your tracks. Then you mix them. Then you master. I'm pretty sure that if they could, they would. Or you could not track through all those latency-inducing effects. Because that's how so many pros do it. And they don't have to "master out errors" either. But anyway, the your workflow is why you're having the latency issues you're describing.
  13. Windows 7 is not supported. Windows 7 is what, 12 years old? Windows 11 is coming out now!
  14. My questions are exactly on your point. I asked them to fill in essential, but missing details. If you are trying to use your onboard sound chip and ASIO4ALL, for example, you wouldn't have a hope in this world of achieving low latency. 90% of your issues would disappear with proper equipment. You didn't say, so I had to ask. If you're tracking through resource-heavy effects like linear phase EQs, Or Well, those add a lot of latency. You didn't say, so I had to ask. No. John already said it: You're certainly free to do whatever you want, but in my opinion you have a horribly inefficient workflow. Those are decisions best made no later than the tracking phase. Preferably in pre-production. When you add instruments at such a late stage, itcan throw off your balance and you end up having to redo all of your mixing & "mastering."
  15. First off, what audio interface and driver are you using? Second, what effects are you using? Third, effects are better added during the mixing stage. Fourth, you shouldn't be worrying about "mastering volumes" until you are at the mastering stage of your project
  16. Uh,. Kontakt Player doesn't work that way either. You can only use instruments made expressly for it. Except for what limited stuff is included with it, they pretty much all cost money.
  17. You should have gotten a license key along with your download link.
  18. You don't need any 11-year-old third-party app for this. Just use Novation's own driver.
  19. Look at the very top of the mixer strips. However, that is not something you should ever have to automate. In fact, it is rare that you should ever have to touch at all. All of your volume automation should be done with the channel faders.
