  1. Personally, i found the most cost effective method I discovered was using a dual track strip with 4 mini spot lights with adjustable shades and color lenses, thus I could control 3 quick lightings with no noise.
  2. Though I’m not a customer/user, that sounds much better!
  3. I’m guessing it’s due to the fact that though it carries and was made for cakewalk. It was a product of Peavey hence not a part of the official sale? The other point is that the file is useless unless you own a studiomix so I see jo reason to protect the dll from public distribution?
  4. Did you check the link scook supplied at the beginning of this thread? It claims to have the controller installers which were separate from Sonar itself. I have one. I have not used it in many years since losing my home and studio, but it’s buried in storage here somewhere. But it was working fine on My win8.1 system (current) last I tried with Sonar. CbB is on the same machine and it's available in my list.
  5. I have noticed that Melodyne is opening better with this update. How? I don't know but I've not had it open with missing blobs since updating to current EA
  6. Happy Holiday to all! Thanks Bakers. Looks like a comprehensive clean up along with the folder enhancements...
  7. May also have overloaded their bandwith too. Maybe they will evolve a paid, "pro" extension for those in need/desire? I’d buy in immediately...
  8. Thanks. I did a few dances with that previously. I see the potential as well as current limitations and complexity. Personally, I’m not looking for real time sessions. More so more convenient collaboration facilities that overcome real world roadblocks. Jamulus is a portion of that for sure at least in direction, but I feel it will take some significant overall internet improvements as well. Secure fixed/direct paths a major issue.
  9. I know there are posts here and there, but more and more the Bandlab editor is emerging. I’m sure there are other than I interested in learning/developing this integration. I am long a loner, but with many friends/musicians and finally found one of my oldest/closest friends up to the challenge. We are underway with constant joy and questions. Thanks
  10. Yes. This has been around since early melodyne 4
  11. I just looked over the satellite plugin... Looks as though it's got some good things but it seems to be very tedious. I think using Bandlab as is and final transfer of files separately, this will be a good tool. I await the day when an update solves this issue and allows for higher bitrate transfers...
  12. Thanks. Looks interesting and I’ll check it out when at DAW. Too bad we lose the cake-band integration but this might be easier?
  13. I agree completely. What I’m thinking is it’s good to share reference tracks but needs more development to allow for higher res file transfers for the master... A good start.
  14. Ok... lots of features, but this one is a limiting factor. All audio files are auto downsampled to 16 bit 44.1/48 (project dependent). So, no 24bit files. Final transfers of additional tracks will require 24bit files to be re-sent separately... Understandable, but too bad...
  15. Thanks Clovis. I did manage to begin a project share. Uploaded, shared, and other party added a track which I downloaded. I’m getting the hang if it. I’m about to check the link you kindly supplied as I seek to learn if/how to control file characteristics for up/download. It seems to do some converting which will lesson he value of system. Ok if the original tracks are converted as the masters exist, but all added files are only listening copies and must be sent separately to preserve HQ... Interesting adventure!
  16. Happens to me on occasion too, but not a show stopper. I own 5 studio but only have 4 studio installed due to hardware bound to win8.1 works great other than this tiny glitch.
  17. Ok. I finally found a friend willing to undertake the task of us both learning the features of Bandlab. I use Cakewalk and he uses Logic. No problem. Are the tracks published in the format (24/48) as are my settings? I published and shared with him but I’m a bit confused. I uploaded a combination of mono/stereo tracks. In the Bandlab editor via chrome, they all appear mono but i hear panned sounds on them? Am I hallucinating? Am I being pointed to publish dual mono instead? Thanks. I’m a real newbie at Bandlab....
  18. Thanks Steev... Yes, I too love it and use it regularly. I no longer have access to the hardware as I did in the past, but the Cake versions yield the kind of result I expect when reaching for an la2a. I bought it back then too and was very pleased the other day to help a friend knowing he had one from Bandlab to use.
  19. Thanks scook! That nailed it. ...it all comes back to me.
  20. I seem to remember this fab plugin being renamed at some point. I don’t remember why... More important (maybe not at all) is... Is there a difference? Something I’m not noticing (besides the name)? Sheesh, my org mem is leaky......... oops. I should gave posted this in Instruments & Effects. Moderator?
  21. Good stuff! I don’t need this, but it sure opens up some thinking...
  22. Needs more thought. I do NOT want it otherwise (#1) #2? I’ve been asking/wishing for mp3 presets it seems forever. A big issue here may be that the mp3 dialog is not actually part of Cake. An encoder now free for use.
  23. Yup... I found it there yesterday just after posting. All is well and the Cake is served!
