I’d expect the raw audio to be compressed, like with SampleTank. I don’t fault them for a big sample set. That’s be expected for a certain level of quality (and number of microphones). BFD Drums allows you to choose the number of layers you want to install, giving you full, half, or a quarter size installation of the samples. That would be a nice option.

The change from 10 to 5 authorizations doesn't bother me since it's above the the max of 3 installations. However, it would be nice to know which computer each license is installed on to be able to track down and unauthorize on that computer.

I wonder which pianos were sampled. Pianoverse Concert Grand YF3 -> Yamaha CF III? "Combining the world's finest concert grand pianos" implies multiple concert grand pianos. Would be interesting to compare to NI Noire (Yamaha CFX) which has patches with FX.

Not surprisingly, the spacial audio features are available only in the Pro or +: https://www.presonus.com/en-US/studio-one-compare.html The features added are pretty compelling as an upgrade from 5 Pro (though I’ll probably be waiting until 7).

Good deal. Analog Lab Intro is often bundled with keyboard controllers and audio interfaces.

Hm. Not Apple Silicon Native. Still.

Purchased. It’ll be a nice upgrade from BIAS FX 2 LE.

BTW, Hornet Plugins discounts vary from 70% (common) to 90% (rarely, and only on specific plugins) so 85% is very good.

Purchased VHS for $1.84.

I have MTurboAmp and my intro + upgrade price is $69.

Wha? So much for Waves plugin Pokémon.

Since I have both, thanks for suppressing my FOMO.

Love refurbs. Ordered the iLoud Micro. Looking forward to it.

Thanks. Installed.

Thanks! I used the above.

Should still work. Just register them on waves.com during the eligible time period. If it doesn’t automatically give you the free license, you should be able open a support ticket and provide proof of purchase. I’ve done it in the past, but on a BOGO.

IK Releases New iRig HD X: Ultimate Guitar Experience. Anywhere.
ALC replied to Larry Shelby's topic in Deals
Pretty much changing from onboard micro-USB to USB C (a good thing). Only cables for Lightning and USB C are included but not USB A. Does anyone know of a small interface that has a balanced output? Looking to not need a direct box when plugging into a sound system. -
Anyone planning to purchase for the freebie, make sure the free one you want is on their list. The list changes periodically. https://www.waves.com/free-plugins-spend-50-spend-80-sale-september-2023

If you have deCoda LE (I got mine free with IK hardware) and are patient, you can get the upgrade when it goes on sale. I upgraded in December for under $21.

Purchased. RX7 Elements is not Apple Silicon Native so for me, that is reason enough to upgrade to RX10 Elements.

For GP4 PA owners: https://gigperformer.com/gig-performer-upgrade-crossgrade-request.html No discount for me ... so I'll be staying with GP4 PA.
