I watched the same video this week. They must be pushing it. It was a great watch. Another one I recently enjoyed was this...

Pi hole This will fix you. https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pi-hole I love you tube, and I pay 180 annually so neither me nor my family need to watch ads.

I've learned you can't put your power amp on top of your computer at the tap at the bottom without really heating everything up a lot. I think I will slide it out from under the rack when using it.

Yay I got my 12u rack today! Boo I assembled it wrong. Yay I assembled it right! Now, it comes with a ground wire. Do you all ground your racks? I've never seen this before, but my racks have never been stationary.

I've ordered a 12u rack for home. I like to record out and take 6u when I go. Everything is wired together. I'm thinking of using blanks to get under all the ears and lift and move them between racks as a group... both racks laid on their backs so I lift and lower verticallyc all 6u without unhooking them from each other. I'm guessing someone here has faced an issue like this who can't just have doubles of all the hardware. Anyone got a better idea?

@Jim Roseberry https://craiganderton.org/transient-tamer-diy-project/ I use one of these cables when recording direct and I think it really helps. Just sharing to be friendly... not trying to hijack the thread.

I have a rme ucx. I've lusted for other newer interfaces but have never bought one because I just never have a need for more than 24 tracks at 44.1 which is what I can do locking an old Tascam to the spidf. Honestly, I rarely need more than the 16 the ucx does. It was a surprisingly good purchase for me.

So.... it turns out a guitar I have is pretty rare!

Use reverb to judge the value and post it for that with no haggle on Craig's list. Then you don't have shipping and could end up with two buyers in a bidding war. -
Why mix on speakers when 87% listen on headphones?
Gswitz replied to whoisp's topic in General Music Discussion
Mix on earbuds if you are good enough! Most of us benefit from listening to as many ways people might listen as we can get. -
I just search for them... type in the name of what I'm looking for in the search window. I really don't have a hard time finding plugins. It can be trickier to know what all the plugins do and how they work. To that end, I do have favorites I have used over time. I also focus on Melda Productions plugins generally. I learn how they work and practice working with them. I have never needed to build custom layouts or anything. I'm sure I'm not helping, but I'm trying. G

Dotted half note represents the trinity ... you know ... because 3 beats. So the dot on the dotted half is called the ***** of perfection. I had no idea.

While I have wanted a new interface, I'm glad I have stuck with my ucx. I really have never needed more. -

Sinister was another. I think it has a root in left in some other language. -

growing up, we were prevented from saying out in left field left out or any other left handed non-pc language. ? You know... to be inclusive. -

Earthquaker pedals for me. I've loved so much stuff. My guitars first and foremost. An old seagull guitar I was playing this morning, for example. There are some things that never took. A tube mic for example. I never loved it. It crackled sometimes and I couldn't trust it.
