I've really only used it to learn parts from recordings. I never managed a result I liked more than the original. Feed it this and see what it says. Lol.

I liked this. Thanks for sharing. I love that channel too. He's great. His interviews around John Prine are interesting too. I saw 18 shows with Jerry. Lots of others since. The day Jerry died I was working at the Boulder School of Massage as a receptionist and at first I didn't believe it. Then I just started bawling. It's the only time in my life this has happened to me. I was sent home from work that day. It was a very sad day. Even now, I'm surprised at what his passing triggered in me. I don't have words. I love listening to his playing. One of my nicest compliments was once listening to the Dead, my dad asked me if it was me. Ha ha ha! 🙂 So sweet!

You did not misinterpret. Do they really all sound the same though?

This is a great mic. It comes with a tiny pop filter. The 414 does too but it is bigger and I use the one on the blue bottle. I skip it on the 414. The blue is hypercardiod. Just terrific. The 414 is more versatile and there are more ways to miss use it. My blue is 20 years old and light blue.

Advice Needed- Reorganize plugins folders
Gswitz replied to Charles Czerny's topic in The Coffee House
There is an interesting discrepancy between how many plugins the browser shows vs how many the scanner finds. I think the scanner found 390 or something and the browser shows 273. Hmmm. ? My guess is 2 versions of the same plugin get counted twice when scanning and once in the browser. -

This makes me want to count. Why don't I have a problem? Probably spend too much on hardware. Just got an eccos pedals that is fun. -
I read stuff like this while trying to harmonize with the AC... This mode does not appear frequently in the world’s music, the notable exception being in jazz, where, thanks to its amenable harmonic nature, it is extremely useful in modulation. Jazz musicians call it the “Lydian-dominant” mode because it is a cross between Lydian and the “dominant seventh” mode, which is a nickname for Mixolydian. More practically, it is called “sharp-four flat-seven” (or “aug-four minor-seven” more recently and more correctly). Phrases such as example 12.5 are typical in bebop. Example 12.5 Indeed, jazz players usually cut their teeth by learning to improvise fluently in this mode in all twelve keys—a high-literacy stunt few jazz musicians have ever regretted.

For the amount of long term storage I need, I can't justify the cost.

I cleaned an akg c414. I have not done others, but I'll bet some could use it. Some have been hard used. My oldest were new in the 90s. And yes, you really can't clean a ribbon. You can replace one. The royers come with one free replacement for original owner. I think it's good to know you can do this maintenance. I cannot tell a dirty mic by listening unless it is really bad.

Drones on Celtic Era and other Tarilonte instruments
Gswitz replied to Cyril Johnson's topic in General Music Discussion
First step to get midi working is to go into the preferences and check the inputs. Then maybe as a midi track twiddling the knobs and see the level bounce as proof it is working. You can record this track, move a fader, then study the midi events data. Next, try midi learn... does this work?- 1 reply

If you create a new project, does it still happen?

No one would see you until you needed a sip of water.

Buy the Supreme Court. I think they cost a calastoga wagon each. Same as it ever was.

Thank you so much! That feels great coming from you. It is for the father of a friend from my middle school days. We are encouraging him to get the old band back together!

The rings are threaded and make it adjustable. You can tip it left or right. Raise it up and down. It is only threaded in the wood so you must not adjust it with pressure on. The glue was on the bass from before. The owner broke the old bridge while tuning it. Then put a screw in it to make it function. The glue held the whole mess in place. I couldn't get all the glue off. I did my best.
