  1. My bad! Didn't scan after install of vst3! But, my scan is now broken. As soon as it hits Amplitube 5 the scan stops throwing a VST Write Scan error during a loop test!!! WTH!!!!
  2. Have checked the vst3 box and installed but the vst2 dll disappeared!!! Tried installing both 2 and 3 and it only installed one or the other! Anybody else seeing this?
  3. Have you tried replacing Ober with another synth in the same track just to see if something is not routed correctly in the track? Tried creating fresh new track from scratch? Are you using as a simple instrument or are you using a midi track assigned to an audio track? If using a midi track, do you see the midi meter showing activity when you press the keys or turn a controller? Sorry about so many questions but thats where I would start.
  4. Ran my installer and everything showed up to date! I don't remember the last time I updated but it seems like it's been a while.
  5. Speaking to the "too much twiddling" theory, if you are working for a producer, an artist manager, and the artists themselves, you will thank God that you have the ability to twiddle til everyone is satisfied!! ?
  6. I am absolutely blown away by the Focusrite strip! The quality of my mixes have improved so much it's hard to believe that I mixed the project myself! The eq is so fat but not wooly sounding. The top end is so pleasing to listen to. I don't know how I got by without it all this time. The real clincher is by having all the tools in one gui, it has cut my mixing time just about in half. I could very easily see having enough presets that I would only have to organize tracks, insert my preset, and in a matter of minutes be done. Best plugin in my arsenal. Hands down!!
  7. Black Velvet, Fairfax 1 & 2, Rock, Studio, Progressive, and Jazz Sticks here. I intended to get Jazz Brushes but I acquired Superior Drummer 2 and 3. After using Toontrack, Addictive just never found its way into any end projects. I do highly recommend Addictive and Black Velvet and the Fairfax kits to someone who needs a great affordable drum program without the bells and whistles and very large learning curve of Toontrack.
  8. The only reason I have any interest in MODO 2 is the upright basses!! I guess MODO 1 owners are out of luck. I,too, use MODO as a place holder as I own and play several electric basses. There are some jazz and old school blues and r&b projects of mine that need that upright warmness but I guess I will get by with the ones I have.
  9. It has been a blessing indeed. This rescue from oblivion of our fave daw has been a great success and I patiently await the future improvements and bug fixes. For now, Congratulations and full speed ahead!!!!
  10. Thanks, Vernon!!!! Reinstall fixed Tonenet for me. Really impressive presets on the site.
  11. Works fine on my old Asus desktop but no connection on my Toshiba laptop! Must say startup time is much better!!
  12. Welcome aboard, Steve!! Make yourself at home!!!
  13. Rematrix Player Free, Convology, and Melda Productions has a free convolution reverb that will leave Perfect Space in the dust. Fwiw, if you are inexperienced with convolutions, the Melda freebie is so easy to understand and setup. I used it for years and still dust it off once in a while. It is very cpu friendly. When you are ready, Melda has a very nice pay version to step up your game. I have a huge library of IRs collected over the years that are still available on the net. I, too, recommend Phoenix for cost effective Lexicon vibe reverb. I got a great sale price on Nimbus and R4 recently. Watch for sales on them.
  14. Had an account. Logged in and authorized. Thanks, guys.
  15. Asking for code for authorization! Anybody know one?
  16. Any console emulation that I have tried is very subtle sounding on its own. Don't expect a huge difference while toggling it on and off to compare the effect. As with the emulation that comes with CbB, the difference is more pronounced as you add the emulation to more tracks and busses in the project. Tried this one and is definitely a keeper even if just getting it for free!!! Nice meters, auto-gain is very good feature, and the emulation, though very subtle, is very well done.
  17. Th2 Sonar, Th2 Full, Th3 Cakewalk, and just added Thu Rockguy. All is well, although, they all gather major dust since Amplitube 3,4, and 5 see the most action.
  18. An absolute must have. Great collection of classics! Very responsive. Greg Koch has a wonderful video on YouTube demoing these .
  19. I don't think I saw Orilriver reverb in here anywhere. Before I invested in some high dollar reverbs, Orilriver and Dragonfly reverbs were workhorses for me. I still keep them around even if I never use them. It's just nice to know they're there!
  20. Grab it quick!!! Before they change their mind and decide they cut the price too much.
  21. Thanks, Noel!! I remembered after I posted that a few versions ago, I was advised to set it to 7 myself after issues arose. I know here on the forum other people had advised to set it to another. Thanks for your wonderful support and keeping the cakes baking. Happy Holidays to your family and all the bakers!!!!!!
  22. Are there still issues with thread scheduling or has it improved in 2021.12 as well as I would like recommendations for setting. Secondly, Severity setting is set at 7. What is a reasonable setting for this.
  23. Says I have to install Sampletank 4 after I registered my license. The initial offer said I could use it in Miroslav 2. It seems like they are forcing me to install ST4 just for this library!! I have ST3 and hardly use it at all. I am not interested in using ST4. If someone finds out what the deal is, please let us know!
  24. My installer update crapped out big time!!! Thankfully , support contacted me back and after about 10 hours total of troubleshooting and nasty talk I finally got the installer working again. But Addictive Drums 2 is still hosed. Hendrick at XLN emailed me back and forth for I know 3 hours. He was extremely helpful and patient with me. I tip my hat to him. I have uninstalled AD2 for the time being. I will not miss it much as I use Superior Drummer 3 mostly. I may try another wack at it when I have the time. Btw, the fix came down to having to go to Program Files and the Program Data folder, locating the XLN Audio folders. In there is the Online Installer folder. Delete that folder and download the latest Online Installer file from XLN. Now install the new file and it should install no problem!! I wish you luck if you are having trouble like this. My last 2 days have been rough!
