All the SSL plugins I own (X-Delay, X-Echo, FlexVerb, X-Saturator) were successfully updated to the versions shown in your original post.
Did you try clearing the installer cash?
Yes, I think you're right.
But Waves' loses too because I'm not going to update anything anymore.
Other plugin companies sell their products in bundles (e.g. FabFilter) but still let you upgrade individual plugins.
I wanted to update my H-Delay from v12 to v15 (to get the Dual Mode functionality), but because it's part of my Horizon bundle, I'd have to upgrade the entire bundle (which I'm not going to do!).
I just had a chance to try this, and it works great!
Disabling UA Connect does not interfere with plugin function.
I can start using my UAD plugins again...
Agreed!
What's more confusing is the text that starts the terms which makes it seem like a definite giveaway to all who sign-up:
"For one week only, grab a free plugin from Waves with KVR Audio. Enter the giveaway and receive a free copy of Metafilter."
I'm not sure if this is a sweepstake or a definite giveaway.
The terms include verbiage that says (emphasis added): "To be in with a chance to win this giveaway, simply complete the form below and cross your fingers!"
The Producer Edition bundle is a great deal for $75, but I'm going to pass b/c I don't like having that damn UAD update app running whenever I use one of their plugins.
EDIT: See fix for this issue suggested by @jackson white below.
