  1. You forgot to say installed! ?
  2. https://www.steinberg.net/vst-instruments/x-stream/
  3. I'm not sure how/why it works for me (especially since I'm not using a Mac). Have you tried contacting UAD's Tech Support?
  4. Yes, I think you're right. But Waves' loses too because I'm not going to update anything anymore. Other plugin companies sell their products in bundles (e.g. FabFilter) but still let you upgrade individual plugins.
  5. I wanted to update my H-Delay from v12 to v15 (to get the Dual Mode functionality), but because it's part of my Horizon bundle, I'd have to upgrade the entire bundle (which I'm not going to do!).
  6. Hmm. I'm able to use all my UAD plugins offline without any problems (Cubase 13/Windows 10) .
  7. I just had a chance to try this, and it works great! Disabling UA Connect does not interfere with plugin function. I can start using my UAD plugins again...
  8. Right. There's no such thing as a free lunch.
  9. EDIT: I just received (and successfully activated) my license code. So either I was the lucky winner, or it really is a giveaway to all.
  10. Agreed! What's more confusing is the text that starts the terms which makes it seem like a definite giveaway to all who sign-up: "For one week only, grab a free plugin from Waves with KVR Audio. Enter the giveaway and receive a free copy of Metafilter."
  11. I'm not sure if this is a sweepstake or a definite giveaway. The terms include verbiage that says (emphasis added): "To be in with a chance to win this giveaway, simply complete the form below and cross your fingers!"
  12. Mac or PC? I'm seeing it on my Win 10 laptop every time I use a UAD plugin.
  13. The Producer Edition bundle is a great deal for $75, but I'm going to pass b/c I don't like having that damn UAD update app running whenever I use one of their plugins. EDIT: See fix for this issue suggested by @jackson white below.
  14. I wonder if those of us who already own GR will get these as independent plugins.

  16. Wouldn't it be easier to just do it directly through the VI plugin rather than converting to audio? But to answer your question, Melodyne doesn't seem to have the necessary tools to do this easily (at least that I'm aware of).
  17. While using it in a project the synth started to periodically emit a burst of noise. I hope Imaginando doesn't require us to go online and login everytime we want to use this damn thing because that's definitely no bueno! And the same thing happens with DRM.
  18. Definitely worth the sales price! My only gripe is that we only get a VST2 Windows' plugin. It works fine now but I don't want to have to give up a good synth when Steinberg drops VST2 support in Cubase.
  19. Maybe they're expessing their dissatisfaction of the Schrödinger's cat thought experiment.
