Welcome. Remove the ASIO4All driver from your computer and download and install Focusrite's true ASIO driver designed to work with their interface,

I always monitor my keyboard's sound module when recording. Never any latency.

Have you tried headphones directly into the Saffire? Have you gone into the Focusrite's mixer and set its ins and outs (routing)? I don't have a Saffire 6 but it looks pretty old. Did you download the latest driver for it for your operating system? I used a Saffire (original model) years ago but can't get it to work with Windows 10.

This may mean that the sample rate is different in the Focusrite and Cakewalk. Check the device and in Cakewalk's Preferences that they are the same.

Cheeseburger in paradise.

Any MIDI you input to a project, whether recorded, moused-in, or dragged into a project can be displayed as notation and printed as Kalle wrote. You can add chord diagrams, expression, lyrics and notes. Audio you would have to write manually.

I like cheese.

The TTS-1 mixer has controls for reverb and chorus. Have you tried that?

Jami's daughter Anna asked all of us to share this Go Fund Me page as much as we can. While Jami does have insurance through her husband's work, we all know that there are always out-of-pocket expenses when dealing with health care. And these are not small expenses when cancer treatment is involved. https://gf.me/u/y386kf Thanks for looking!

I think you would need an Instrument Definition in order to access the additional banks.

You can also put info, "Expression", in the Staff view. They don't have to be 'expression', you can type in anything you want.

Hear Myself When I play to Track

Make sure the Input Echo button is on. -
My friend Jami loves music. Last week we all went out to eat on her 49th birthday. She and her mother (my room mate) ordered the same thing. The next day, they both felt ill and thought it might be from the food. No one else was sick. My room mate got better after a few days but Jami did not. She then went to the hospital, and they performed scans of her belly and discovered a blocked bile duct and a 'spot' on her pancreas. After surgery to place a stent in her duct and do a biopsy of the pancreas, they found that it is pancreatic cancer. But. they found it very early and she has a good chance of a full recovery after more surgery in the next few weeks. So, getting food poisoning may have saved her life, and she can keep listening to music. Update: While the doctor's are saying that they're happy the cancer was caught early, they have since discovered that it is a very aggressive form of cancer. One doctor called it the "Mike Tyson of cancers", very tough and hard to beat. She will have to undergo radiation, chemotherapy and surgery. I've known her since she was 11; she's like a niece to me. Trying to remain positive, despite my Uncle Hawk dying from the same disease.

Congratulations! I freed myself last November, and looked forward to being able to record as much as I wanted to. Instead, I find myself getting fat watching TV and eating becan. Good luck!

Focusrite Solo guitar problem with Cakewalk
57Gregy replied to Count Vlad's topic in Cakewalk by BandLab
Right. And you may still have to go into Cakewalk's Preferences and set the Focusrite to be recording and playback timing master. -
I don't think we interacted much on the old forum, but I have always admired that beautiful guitar.

Focusrite Solo guitar problem with Cakewalk
57Gregy replied to Count Vlad's topic in Cakewalk by BandLab
Download and install the latest drivers for the Solo from the Focusrite website and change the driver mode to ASIO for the best chance at recording satisfaction. MME is the absolute worst driver for recording due to its inherent latency. -
Isn't "chronic" a good thing in California?

Most receivers use RCA jacks. If you happen to have some TRS-to-RCA cables around, you can use those. RCA should be just fine, unless the cables are 100 feet long.

Moved to its own thread.

Checking for electrical interference using a guitar amp

I was playing guitar the other day and heard a horrible noise. I stopped playing and the noise went away.
