  1. Congratulations! I've been retired since '19 and was loving it. Since last year I've been semi-retired due to the state of the economy. Just 2 days a week. Enjoy it while you can!
  2. Lately, I've had this insatiable desire. Along with a dream wherein the desire is fulfilled, with great satisfaction. It has been infiltrating every thought, every action reminds me of this yet-to-be-attained goal. I need a 335.
  3. No doubt in anticipation of the new Barbie movie.
  4. Gives you something to do while the batteries are charging.
  5. By inspiring me to spend all of my money on guitars and lessons so I can play as good as he does. Didn't work. ?
  6. I quit (again) 2 years ago. What helped the most was penury (thanks Joe B.!). I don't recommend that except as a last resort.
  7. I wouldn't buy a gaming sound card for audio production. I probably wouldn't buy a Sound Blaster, although my SB Extigy worked well... in 2004.
  8. I am on my phone, but when using the Insert menu, you have the option for 'all synths outputs' or something like that. That will give you an audio track for each piece, but you will still have the MIDI in 1 track. I am not sure how to do that for existing synths without deleting the synth and re-inserting it, but it's probably possible. Again, that's using Insert from the top.
  9. I don't know why you're getting poor performance after the latest Windows update, but I suggest you dispense with the VST instruments in a live setting. I think that's just asking for trouble. I would bounce every synth track to audio and archive/hide the MIDI and synth tracks. Moreover, I would bounce all of those tracks to a single stereo track and then archive and hide those tracks. It wouldn't take but a second to load a song then. With over 250 files, that would take a long time to do, I know, but could be done. Hopefully someone can help you with the update slowdown.
  10. Bapu is at almost 94,000*! *He had his posts from the previous forum iteration carried over. I know, but he is The Bapu.
  11. Welcome. This forum is more for hanging out, shooting the breeze, making jokes. You can get program advice and musical advice here, too, but I would post those questions in the main Cakewalk by Bandlab help forum. There is also the Deals forum at the top of this page and the great plug-in thread in the Instruments and Effects forum. Good luck!
  12. Is there any audio in the project when this happens?
  13. I just reread the OP and realize that my suggestions have nothing to do with having a count-in without recording. Sorry for the misdirect. ?
  14. Or Punch-in recording, which is what I should have written. Either will work.
  15. If he was on acid, he undoubtedly thought he was performing better.
  16. I would use Loop recording and start playback a few measures before the recording start time. You can have the metronome set or just listen to the drums (if any) in the project.
  17. Beat me to it while I was signing in. What does "ninguno" mean?
  18. "Blue Cheer". ? There's a name you don't hear much of nowadays.
  19. That's what I meant. "I can't hear a 'gap' in the melody between notes." That implied that the notes are sounding beyond the visible end of the notes , leading us all down the 'sustain/reverb/long release' road. ? You can set the duration of each note so it ends early, which you probably already know. You can drag the right edge of the note in PRV to the left so it's shorter and leaves a gap. I believe with Last Touched selected, you can have a note value as a default for entering in the staff and PRV. Anyway, I think I understand what you mean now.
  20. Shoot, I wouldn't change them until you want to record something on that track. Unnecessary, time-consuming, potentially problem-causing. I don't want to spend time trying to find that phantom track that keeps making noise because the input is active while I'm trying to record something on a different track.
