Sorry. CbB doesn't seem to work the same way as SONAR. I'll have to work out a different way.

I check the Clip Properties for the exact time the clip starts and then paste it based on that time. The clip may start at 7:03:847 and I want to paste it at about the 37th measure. Type 37:03:847 as the paste target. Opps. See below.

So, you want to extend an event all the way to the end, or the start, not just go to the end or the start, correct? FWIW, Shift+Alt+F6 does nothing on my machine that I can see.

Seriously, it is deep program and somewhat complicated for new users, especially if you're not familiar with some of the terms. Forum member John Vere (AKA Cactus Music) has a series of video tutorials on You Tube, as have many others. There is a Help file with the program and a PDF that can be downloaded from Cakewalk. It's >1600 pages. Besides learning the program, there is the hardware side of recording and mastering music. If you're serious about this vocation, or avocation, having decent gear will pay off in fewer headaches and better-quality sound.

Or, under 'View' in the Track View, select Fit Project to Window (Shift+F), drag it out, then View Undo (Alt+Z).

That's something I have desired for years; a way to set how far the groove clip goes without having to drag it that far. Parboo12 has a good idea.

Right-click on the Master bus and set it as the default bus. Do this on any new templates or projects you create before working on the project. I don't recall if it is retroactive, though.

I believe the 'punch' you're seeing is for 'Punch-in recording'.

So you can see in one place which synths are in the project, or add or delete synths.

Welcome to the forum. Are they on a bus? Or on a hidden track?

How is the synth connected to the computer? Do you have an audio interface or are you using the computer sound card? What is a Minifuse? Did you try the other MIDI driver? There are 2, so whichever one you're using, switch it to the other one and see if the performance improves.
