  1. lyrics: "It's a gas, gas gas" Jumping Jack Flash - Rolling Stones
  2. Don't Leave Me This Way - Thelma Houston
  3. The first song I ever learned "By Ear" and the version I used to learn it. I got requests for it, and I still get requests for... Harlem Nocturne - The Viscounts
  4. Because it's that time of year, and because it's a great piece of music (and only one week late) Russian Easter Overture - Nikolai Rimsky-Korsakov / Mariinsky orchestra, Valery Gergiev conducting
  5. The best thing about having a short memory, is I can laugh at the same jokes twice!! (or more) ;_
  6. "Cement Mixer (Put-Ti-Put-Ti)" - Alvino Rey
  7. Bronx In Blue - Dion He was born on my birthday (some years earlier), lived in the same neighborhood as I did, my mom says I knew him, but I don't remember because we moved when I was 5.
  8. Stuck Inside of Mobile with the Memphis Blues Again - Bob Dylan
  9. In the state of Florida, direct download software is not taxed. As long as nothing physical is purchased, it's considered a service. I put 'tax free' in my shopping cart, so I doubt that anyone overseas would have to pay import duty. But I guess that's up to the shopping cart company, who is supposed to take care of things for me. 10. Mr. Magic - Grover Washington Jr. I used to play this when I was in a jazz band.
  11. Morning of the Carnival (Manhã De Carnaval) - Luiz Bonfa and from the film by Elizete Cardoso https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nVkDfnGobmI But UTube won'l let me embed that one.
  12. Even direct download software? Notes
  13. Disco Inferno - Trammps I was offered a gig playing sax in their backing horn section, but I didn't want to live in shared hotel rooms and travel on the band bus. I was gigging in a band in singles clubs at the time making as much as they offered, and I had my freedom.
  14. I sell software add-ons for Band-in-a-Box. In the 1990s I had to send physical floppy disks out of the US. I would list the price of the floppy disk for customs and not the information on it to lower the price my customers had to pay. My lawyer said that was legal. Now it's all direct download, so there are no import duty fees to pay. I bought an electronics device from India and had to pay import duty for that. As they say, death and taxes. Notes
