Hello. Do we already have a topic to comment on the production version 2022.11? I ask why I installed it and I am encountering some problems. Yesterday I created a new project with the EA version and it was saved with the same version. Now, when trying to open it again with version 2022.11, it's just been more than 5 minutes trying to open it and it won't open.

@msmcleod Thank you very much. Pardon ! I thought that this innovation would make this improvement also in this operation. After all if I "select track and bus" my understanding is that when we say "all tracks" selected, in fact it is: - Will work for ALL selected TRACKS - Will work for ALL selected BUS. Separately for BANDS and FOR BUS.
-
@Noel Borthwick I downloaded the new EA and it still remains as follows: - Either delete or change all FX, even if TRACKS and BUS are selected, it only works within the TRACKS or BUS scope, depending on where the right button has been clicked to access the MENU. If this is the expected behavior then I suggest it be clarified in the functionality detail. - On a MIDI track with more than one existing control the lines remain in the same color causing confusion as they mix. The impression I have is that the sampling is always given by the highest value of one of the controls. Example: If I have Tremolo-120, Modulation-90 and Pedal - 50. The line that appears behind the MIDI notes is the largest, that is, in this case: Tremolo-120. So I think this functionality is very good, but it would need to be improved to actually show all existing controls in their correct values.
-
This feature is very good, but it should show the MIDI controllers in different colors, because when there are more than one controllers used, it is quite confusing. Case: I created a MIDI track and inserted 3 controllers. In track view they are seen as a single controller. This would look much better if each controller was shown in the color it appears in the MIDI panel. In this way, reinforcement is good, but only for the existence of a controller.

Shouldn't this operation reach ALL SELECTED TRACKS? I understood that this would also reach the existing effects on the BUS, but it only works separately on the selected tracks or the selected BUS. If I have several tracks selected and I command in the tracks section, the replacement does not reach the existing effects on the BUS, even if selected. The same happens in reverse. It's strange that you can REPLACE ONE EFFECT by another using CTRL or CTRL SHIFT on several tracks and not be able to DELETE in the same way. Here's a great opportunity for that!

Thanks for the answer. However, I insist: It would be very difficult to put in the EA version the same as in the production version, that is: THERE IS A more up-to-date VERSION (EA). I think this would prevent users who collaborate on the review from being able to keep an eye on what's latest. I go further. There is a Preferences option where users express their interest in collaborating with improvements. So this can also be used, even to make this alert even while the application is in use, that is, at time intervals, or even when closing the application so that the collaborative user is alerted of the existence of a new compilation. Just a suggestion to improve the flow.

Hello I think your statement is opportune to bring up one that I suggested some time ago, which, unfortunately, doesn't work when we're in the EA version. For example: I had downloaded version 006, but when checking the DAW if I'm up to date it confirms that I am. Only you are now saying that there is already a 008 and that this would be in the initial POST, but it is not. We only know if we click on the LINK and visualize the sequence in use. I think it's a good time to implement that, even though it's an EA version, it can identify if there's a newer EA version just like the production version. That would make it a lot easier for everyone.

Hello. As I explained. 1) I want to effect an entire track, considering it as a clip. 2) Order EXPORT TO CLIPS all at once. This is possible to do for all clips that are selected. However, the effect(s) must already be in the CLIPS. So in reality what I would need is that I could select MULTIPLE CLIPS and ADD TO THOSE MULTIPLE CLIPS the effect(s) and then be able to render.
-
Case: 1) I have several tracks. 2) I select it and consider it as a clip where I insert an effect. 3) And command EXPORT TO CLIPS I have to do this procedure TRACK-BY-TRACK. I wonder if there is a way to include one or more feats in the track and render them all at the same time?

Adjusted ! I did the following tests: 1) Deleting tracks in a project containing only one instance of the plugin. 2) Deleting tracks in a project containing 5 plugin instances. 3) Deleting tracks in an existing project, containing other instruments and tracks. 4) Deleting the instrument with folders and tracks. ALL WORKED! Thank you very much.

Is Github Control Surface SDK still valid
Milton Sica replied to EduCampi's topic in Cakewalk by BandLab
Thanks for the considerations. Something that came to me as a result of this reflection: Some time ago I had problems on my M-Audio Keyboard that seemed to enter commands as well as if I had moved the keyboard (wheels, volume). The information I got was that the problem could be happening in the cable and its movement in the connection. I switched to new cables and the problem persisted. Anyway, I think my problem could be overcome if there was a more direct MIDI DEVICE ON/OFF BUTTON in the Panel and, not, having to go into Preferences -> Delete -> Apply Adjustments. -

I thought that resetting the knob values such changes would not change the PAN values I've been suffering. It is quite uncomfortable doing a mix and realizing that the value it should be centered has shifted either to the right or to the left. That was my attempt as there is no other solution within the DAW to turn on/off CONTROL SURFACE. I'm lost without knowing where to look for a solution. -

Hello, I'm thinking of putting the Knob of PAN in Nano Kontrol 2 as 0 to 0 instead of 127. Where are the settings for each Control Surface stored for me to try via Kork Editor? -

Hello, I already tried to use your creation, I currently use Cakewalk's own creation and the problems are the same. I've tried with Mackie Control - 1, Mackie Control XT and they all end up with the same problem. I have placed the commands for my MASTER,BUS. So I can better visualize when there is any PAN change. To avoid more problems I leave the PAN controls centered and the volume controls at 0. -

Hello, some time ago I opened a topic of my own and made comments reporting that my PAN controls are sometimes changed. I use a Nano KOntrol 2 and found that the changes, even without any movement on my part, only happen when the surface is active. So for me it would be important if there was some way to turn NanoKontrol ON/OFF without having to go to preferences and disconnect. Do you have any suggestions or tips for this operation to be better performed? Maybe some BUTTON SENSITIVITY command? -
HOW TO SUSPEND USE OF MIDI MACKIE CONTROL DEVICE TEMPORARILY?
Milton Sica replied to Milton Sica's question in Q&A
Thank you very much for your kind comment. Yes, the way you said it is possible, but I would like to have something more direct, such as turning the audio engine on/off. -
My question is if there is some sort of button/config that allows a controller console not to command anything in the MIX. I know of a case where the operator accidentally bumped into a Volume button, increasing his level without realizing it. So my wish is to know if I could temporarily suspend the use of the mixing console MIDI device with a button or command. I'm not talking about the audio engine that already exists, but something similar.

Thanks for the comment. So I don't feel so "out of context with the problem", thinking that I was the only one experiencing it and being guided by some friends on the forum to withdraw my comment or post in another topic. Thank you very much.
