  1. I believe you can still get the upgrade to Win 10 for free. As for your Audio Interface, there is only 1 way to find out Before I upgrade way back that is what was holding me back, I was running Delta 1010's and didn't want to change from PCI interface for fear performance on USB wouldn't be as good, and also thought that they wouldn't be compatible with Win 10, the last and final driver for the 1010's was during Win 7's time in the Sun. I ended up just doing a HD backup with Acronis TI, and just bit the bullet and done the upgrade to Win 10, zero problems, the Delta 1010's just kept on as usual. Eventually they developed physical issues like scratchy buttons etc, so I got a Focusrite Clarett 8 Pre USB, turns out my performance worries were unfounded, should have done it years ago.
  2. No 'swoosh' for you then He might get it now.
  3. 70 + 16 = 86 If I were you I wouldn't worry what anyone said or thought, I would posting as many songs as I could as quick as I could while I was still above ground.
  4. 'Swoosh' there it goes again . . . lol
  5. Did anyone else hear that 'swooshing' sound like something going over your head?
  6. Why not? Well try buying one yourself and let us know how you go
  7. The email I got 19 hours ago says that the sale is for 48 hours, so you got heaps of time my man.
  8. Grab the demo and check it out. For me, I did when it was first released, never bought it then, nothing has changed, still not buying it. But you may like it, hence it's better to try it for yourself than to put to much in other peoples opinions.
  9. What's it to ya?, you got a badge or just writing a book? I think you would be very surprised by how many people who still visit the Cakewalk forums but no longer use SONAR/CbB, Some, it's just for the 'social' aspect developed over the years on the old forums, others it's just or the Deals Forum.
  10. Works fine in Studio One Pro 4.6, I don't use CbB so . . . Don'r have IK Axe I/O, using Focusrite Clarett 8Pre USB.
  11. That would be good , the Tapes were/are excellent, just shame about the CPU hit, but it is what it is. Oh well, I'm in for the reverbs, another one ain't gonna hurt.
  12. Just as long as you don't make 'Bumper Stickers' I think that the memories of constant random crashing may not be the best thing to bring to the minds of people in control of automobiles ?
  13. I could upgrade you for $200US You would get TH2 Full, TH3 Full, TH-U Full plus the following RIG libraries - TH-U British Classics, TH-U American Classics, TH-U Choptones Brit 1987, TH-U Choptones Fried BE50D I pay the transfer fee ($20) Let me know. SOLD
  14. Are you bitflipper in disguise by any chance? an alias perhaps? (Rhetorical, I know the answer) or just one of those bitter people who can't follow instructions? Personally I have never had an issue with Waves or Waves Central, it's pretty much a no brainer from where I stand, easy as.
  15. I believe he would be referring to Free/Open Source Software and in my experience and opinion his assumption is correct
  16. 'THAT' folder will live forever, and that's a good thing ? Keep the dream alive
  17. Hey that spells PENI . . . O'h never mind. Didn't Straummy get in hot water for saying/typing that out on the old forums?. Maybe there aren't as many dicks in authority here?
  18. and what is this a little birdie has been whispering in my ear, perhaps more competition for the new ReValver? I don't Know. Time will tell.

  20. I can do it until the cows come home in Studio One and no issues, but whatever.
  21. Yeah, I have done before, as far as I am concerned there is just no comparison for what I am looking for anyway, but depending on style and the outcome you are looking for it may be fine, but for big, alive sounding driven guitars for me there is no substitute. But again, only my opinion, ymmv, and that's fine, some like chocolate some like vanilla and others strawberry.
  22. There is only 1 way to double track guitars (left and right) and that is to 'double track' the guitars, 2 seperate recordings, it will sound so much thicker, bigger and alive, and well just plain better. All the slight differences in timing pick attack, pressure etc etc just makes it come alive when each is panned away. Trying to do it any other way with 1 recording doesn't even come close, sounds dead (in comparison). This of course is just my opinion, and for my style, driven hard heavy rock, but I would never do it any other way than actually double tracking the guitars. ymmv of course
  23. I reported, sent in a support request about that years ago, the basic gist of the reply was that they are aware of it, just don't use the presets and create your own and it will be fine, which is true, but you know . . . So like I said, that was years ago, they were aware of it, but it will never get fixed, but it's no biggie in the end I guess. There is a similar issue in I think the Slash bundle (I think), first noticed it after it was upgraded.
  24. PM me, I might be able to work something out with you, it would include TH2/TH3and TH-U (all full versions, also 4 Rig Player packs for TH-U) I believe because they were all upgrades after TH2 initial purchase, they must stay chained at the hip (and that doesn't mean it will cost 3 X $). PM me if interested.
