  1. Think about it a bit more before pulling the trigger, you could also look at KVR where you could pick up the Pro version for not much more than that. Don't forget there is also a Crossgrade available from any qualifying DAW, in SONAR's case it is X2 or higher, I doubt it would include CbB as it is free. Although still expensive, Crossgrade is about $100 less. Also there are quite often sales etc. KVR would be a good chance though. Yes demo it, it may not be for you, but I would really recommend the Pro version rather than Artist if you can swing it and you decide to go that way.
  2. Studio One Pro (now 4.6.1) is the only DAW I use, check out the following link for info about instruments. I mainly use 3rd party instruments and have never really checked them out myself. If you own Rapture Pro you can of course use it in S1, not sure about AD, if you are talking about something that came bundled with SONAR, it may work, I think it does (it's been a long time, can't really remember, I jumped ship from Cakewalk/SONAR in 2015) if it's the real deal of course it will work in Studio One if you own it. https://www.presonus.com/products/Studio-One#instruments If memory serves me correct there were a number of Cakewalks own stuff that would work outside SONAR, but I never really use them, and no longer have SONAR Platinum etc installed to check.
  3. KVR, . . . that Sunset Sound Studio Reverb thread got a little shaky at times ? Excellent product though, as I'm sure will be the Satriani Amplitube Pack . . . drums fingers on desk ?
  4. That makes me smile, I'm very happy with that, for whatever reason in my mind I have been imagining and preparing for $250 - $300, so with the price being $179, to me it's like it is already on sale. Bargain!!! (as long as it delivers)
  5. I was happy after reading Peters reply to my concern as to my silly little post perhaps being taken to mean something that wasn't intended . . . then I read your post ? I can see how you could come to that thinking, and it wouldn't take a lot of over thinking either ? I'm just glad I aired my concern that I had a feeling things may have been taken in an unintended direction.
  6. @Peter - IK MultimediaI'm a little confused (and that's not hard, or surprising), and would just like a little clarification. My "Hello I'm Mr Ed" post had no meaning, it was just a little light hearted nothingness between the rising temperature, is there some 'unknown to me' meaning otherwise, I got a feeling after you posted "While I may or may not be Mr Ed . . ." that there may be something I'm not aware of, I assure you there was no other meaning from my side.
  7. Here here, the poor fellow has and does cop a lot a flac both here and at other places like KVR among others, and in the vast majority of cases handles himself very well, and those few occasions where he might apply a little to much acceleration and break traction, well you can hardly blame him.
  8. 'ceptin if'n ya already be ownin' dem dare udder plugins ?
  9. Yes, I see one of the main men have made it here. Long live BFD!!!
  10. Here's some more, supposedly 28 of the best Doors Covers https://www.pinterest.com.au/barbaramurray58/door-covers/
  11. Indeed, I'll take BFD3 any day. (Sold my SD2/SD3) According to a couple of the FXpansion dudes, SKoT_FX and Drew_FX it's not the end as usual, time will tell.
  12. Mary Ford - Fords and Lincolns were setting the pace
