Only joking, I had nothing to download, the only thing it would have got me that I don't own is the Miroslav thing, I wouldn't really get much use out of it, not really my thing, and I've survived this long without it. If I need something along those lines I have got plenty of things that will do the job good enough. I may upgrade to Sampletank 4 MAX though.

Well not that it answers your question, but I was wondering similar. At least you can download from Izotope, and as it's authed via iLok, there should be no problem there. So I stopped wondering because I could download it when needed, and the auth was taken care of (apart from machine failures and the risks of it being to my PC and not iLok dongle, but that's another story) They do say on the Izotope site "At this time, Exponential Audio products are not yet integrated into Product Portal. The iLok activation code will not work within Product Portal." At this time may be taken, with a little or a lot of liberty to mean at sometime in the future it will be integrated. Sorry it took so long to not answer your question, if I could give you your time back I would. (also did you notice that PG released the new official update for FX2)

Well the old fashion method still works as I expected, just downloaded and installed the updates from within Studio One. No need for Hub thingy (yet), hope it stays that way.

I have always heard good things about this. Can you compare to IK's Tape machines? And CPU, compared to IK's Tape machines? and this Aquarius thingy, is it required?, if so is it very intrusive? I really shouldn't even be thinking about this with the exchange rate the way it is, it will cost 190 - 200AUD, but like I say I have heard good things about this in the past.

Yeah, but it is a PA/Brainworx product. IMO PA amps suck, full stop. (Chandler and Bassdude have some redeeming grace) I gave all mine away. I don't like Celestion cabs at all, have a heap of them, never use them. I only use amp sims with 3rd party IR's (Redwirez and Ownhammer) and this new thing here sounded way better than the mega's did, which to me is not saying much, but each to their own, ymmv etc etc

Don't know about going on sale, but there is a 'frequency' discount that is applied to purchases at some point along your journey (can't recall. it may kick in after your first purchase) it's not a huge discount, but it is welcome none the less, if memory serves me correct if you purchased a pack that cost $29, you would get $7 or $8 off, something like that. So far I own them all, for me Redwirez and Ownhammer are all I need, and sound the best.

You do need the PreSonus Hub thingy to use their plugins in other DAW's though I believe (I think its free), and you would require Fat Channel XT to begin with before you can get the extra EQ's and Comps. I only use Studio One, I got the whole Fat Channel collection, they are all very good quality plugs. Personally I haven't bothered downloading and installing the Hub thingy, going to stay away from it as long as possible, hope it doesn't become necessary, I don't need to use any of the PreSonus plugins in another DAW because I only use Studio One so I haven't needed it thus far.
