I tend to stay away from TT despite its high quality. Their eco system gets bloated and expensive. I can understand that for SD 3 but their addons for other instruments gets expensive.
I remember the LE version use to be bundled in Home Studio.
Funny with all of these high res and big screen TVs as monitors you almost need a magnifying glass for everything. Everything is easier to see on a 32" 720p TV.
Ugh! as much as I tried not to go down Cherry Audio land after so many other synths it's a fail. For $20 I fell for the 4 Cherry apps. I downloaded all of the loops since some actually have midi.
It's downfall is they way you have to work using Kontakt or Sampletank. The GUI is nothing fancy which doesn't attract users. When Sony got out of the software business, Acid users when to this DAW. Speaking of Acid I still likes it's simplicity. Too bad they never has a real separate window for sequencing.
I guess most people never to bother with settings in the app. You can specify locations. Every download thingy I have goes to a download folder and then I archive them keeping the two latest versions.
Some of them have options to delete after install like Arturia.
I think when EastWest puts their orchestra on sale that price is hard to beat if one wants to be content.
I'd be afraid to take inventory of all of my orchestra sounds right now and I rarely use any of it.
He stopped carrying them for a short period some time ago. He's also on the slow side maintaining the site. I use to buy mine from Koby. He's removed all Waves. BTW there was also a vendor called Waves Universe. I could think of many titles to rename that site.
That's not the point. It's an annoyance opening up a system without the makeshift dongle and sets off a DAW reminding you many times it's not plugged.
The moral of the story is their......licensing...........SUCKS!
