  1. Then why buy it? Tracks and Amplitude are well worth it if you don't hav them. The ST libraries will take up a lot of space. This isn't a knock against ST but I'm in many forums where only once I've seen someone use ST in a project. I think part of it that it becomes overwhelming (like Komtplete) that people ignore it.
  2. This is one may be the only one worth getting. I have it.
  3. http://www.radiosure.com/ Not a VST but I like this one. It creates mp3s if you want. I couldn't imagine someone actually paying for something like that.
  4. Just notice this happened too. I disagree, it's Korg's problem since no other installation ever did this. It will eventually fix itself.
  5. You'd be surprised how many are using older versions. I have a license but I;m not really a user.
  6. Only a person living under a rock would not have 4 serials by now.
  7. Maybe in the Pro market but for hobbyists/home studios who don't make any money off their work it's not that large. They did dip down with a generous cross grade offer.
  8. I'm all set if I happen to have 84 machines.
  9. With all of the softsynths and available presets I find it hard to give up that kind of drive space. There are plenty of great Kontakt libraries that are small. I think we are in the age of using large GB for marketing is over.
  10. I think I have carpal tunnel after running their installers.
  11. I guess with jam points for me it would be $99. Basically I'd be getting Modo Bass and eating up drive space with Syntronik. This is a killer deal but not for me.
  12. I'd rather spend my money on Arturia. Better support and not a lot of hassles going to my products.
  13. It is but it isn't. It will eat up a lot of drive space.
  14. The other option is buying tutorials from places like Udemy when they are around $10.
  15. I have to use a USB port to run it on a machine. I do that with Reason but I just log in on the other machines. Reaper is starting to chip away at the Cubase crowd. I don't like the GUI either. It has that budget DAW look except budget DAWs don't look like that. A .5 update is the same price as a Reaper license. Not a fan of single machine licenses.
  16. I got it for the other machine since it is a single machine limit. I have Melda's super duper one. It looks like an OS.
  17. This is where I like Reaper. It was designed for 3rd party plugins. I guess all of the DAW developers figured out after buying a DAW they need throw in stuff for making music out of the box since a user may not have any money left to buy 3rd party plugins. Tascam figured that out with Gigastudio 3. I remember buying Gigastudio 2 and looking at the prices of libraries threw me off.
  18. It took me forever to find the Presonus Hub.
  19. I'm off the Cubase train. I'm not a fan of their business model. I could care less how good it is.
  20. Soon we will need another drive for all of these downloaders and proprietary romplers. I don't like their player either.
  21. Same here. I have too many DAWs as it is. It is a nice DAW but I think they are shooting themselves with paid upgrades almost annually.
  22. LOL! Now I have the perfect excuse to buy Pro Tools or was it Reason 11?
