  1. It wont let me select upgrade. "You are not eligible to purchase this version. Please click here for more details." IK is not eligible to receive my funds for this since they want me to pony up $199 despite having the recent Total Studio Max 3.5 bundle. If it's a glitch then hopefully they fix it otherwise I won't even consider this. Beware of Toontrack.
  2. I have Total Studio Max 3.5 and have the same issue.
  3. 2.7 GB - must be a hoax.
  4. I know it's 10$ but is it worth it? I would have to buy 3 licenses. I'm trying to avoid the Waves food chain.
  5. 53.8 GB of free drive space = pass Love the GUIs.
  6. RMA on Monday and got the replacement on Thursday. The old drive which is not readable had Konplete, Refills, and BFD. I used my other system which is networked via cables and took little time. Unlike years ago most data can be downloaded again.
  7. People don't realize how difficult it is to take over one's code. Magix hasn't done much with Acid except change the paint and overprice it. Garritan bought the Gigastudio technology but too much code to do anything with it.
  8. I keep the midis, presets, then convert the demo of each construction kit to mp3.
  9. Me too but I could probably do all of that in Live and of course Kontakt.
  10. I would not chance buying the expansions either.

    Why BFD sucks

https://forum.bfddrums.com/t/is-there-allready-a-fix-for-bfd3-has-been-disabled-because-this-machine-isnt-authorized/2282 I had to do the yada, yada, yada. to get it to run. Their licensing model sucks. This would make anyone appreciate a dongle. I feel like a dope falling for a $49 bloated drum package. EZD, XLN, Kontakt, do just fine.
  12. Good ? I didn't realize there was new sounds for v2.
  13. Usually when I start with a fresh install (which is rare) I install less with the thought of "I never use the app anyway". Over time that smaller disk space creeps back up with more hoarding.
  14. Waves had a bad reputation with their WUP at the beginning of the century. iLok also had a reputation for ruining hard drives back then. Those don't die quickly. Waves also has the worst licensing model along with Steinberg, How many people are willing to pay $200 for a plugin with WUP? At the same time both companies often don't have mediocre products either.
  15. That's why developers don't bother with Linux.
  16. The only blessing to that is you often cut down on apps only to start the cycle of acquiring more stuff.
  17. I'm sure that 72gb is a major seller for a synth.
  18. You can create your own stuff. I haven't watched the full tutorials yet.
  19. Unfortunately some developers are offering better deals direct instead of the distributors slugging it out.
  20. I remember when a 500gb drive was the max and I had a Seagate the lasted over a decade. I still have some WD Blue 320gb drives I use for archiving. I usually use at least 5 SATA ports on each machine. I'm thinking of getting a 4tb HDD and going with 3 1TB SSD drives for libraries.
  21. I don't like forfeiting the SATA ports to use them.
  22. Anyone remember audiomidi?
