  1. This would be an external for me. I could archive a lot of stuff. and maybe not be so lazy with drive imaging. I do believe WD has their own WUP when the warranty runs out. Plus I like their RMA service.
  2. I'm still running these off a HDD. Most ST based libraries don't take long to load.
  3. I'd convert it to an external drive for archiving. that should fit a few Soundpaint libraries. Gold drives are great.
  4. https://www.newegg.com/gold-wd181kryz-18tb/p/N82E16822234420?Item=N82E16822234420&utm_medium=Email&utm_source=Automation052722&cm_mmc=EMC-Automation052722-_-EMC052722-Index-_-Desktop+Internal+Hard+Drives-_-N82E16822234420&ignorebbr=1 WD Gold 18TB Enterprise Class Hard Disk Drive - 7200 RPM Class SATA 6Gb/s 512MB Cache 3.5 Inch - WD181KRYZ - OEM $359 5yr warranty. Worthy of buying an enclosure. WD's best.
  5. They know that. It has yet to sink in to us. I'm starting to delete more plugins that I never use.
  6. It's working now. Not like it's really important what driver is used on a stand alone anyway.
  7. Nice. I have them on Steam. I will have to ply these again on Epic.
  8. Bioshock Complete - probably not since most free games want you to buy sticker shock DLC.
  9. So far the desktop version doesn't like ASIO hardware drivers. It wont work with my MOTU M2 or AP 2496. I shall see if that happens on the other 2 systems.
  10. There we go. I altered it. I know of one forum they will be all over this.
  11. Not a fan of UVI to begin with. I don't think many developers not named Reason Studios push the sub model.
  12. That didn't work. I even went deep into the registry to remove all traces.
  13. This is the way to go. I have this with MPV and Groove 3.
  14. I wouldn't be surprised if it goes all the way to 33. The pace seems to have picked up since they extended it.
  15. That didn't work either. It works fine on 2 other systems. I usually download on one machine and the others are networked.
  16. I've always wondered what make a drum kit cinematic?
  17. Mine is broken on one system. I get this "well this is awkward". At least you can download your products from their site.
  18. These load quite well on a HDD.
  19. For those who do dance genres two is enough for acoustic drums. I don't have the ears of drummer to know the difference between materials used in kits.
  20. I have to start looking at things from a financial point of view. Our shoes are much different as explained. My last build was a 9900K. It's more than enough. I bought all of the parts during the Covid lockdowns and couldn't build the same specs today at the price. As for PRS I still have an older Santana SE with a wide fat neck. If I were to put down some serious money it would be a PRS. I would have to justify my abilities to be worthy of one.
  21. Not always better either. There's a reason why the GTA and CoD games always sell. They are playable on most systems. I still fail to see the attraction of Fortnie other that is can be played on anything.
  22. Not a fan of auto update while a DAW is still running. I never use that in Live. Reaper is small enough where I don't need this.
