The last demo for Pianobook https://www.pianobook.co.uk/ for this year. I was re-reading The Picture of Dorian Gray. and three interesting instruments popped up on the Pianobook Advent Calendar. That prompted this cinematic cue type thing. Americana Tapestries by Joshua Meltzer, Etheral Guitar Textures by IN House Instruments, and Marimba Clusters by Saturn V Sound. Time to put up the feet and indulge till its 2022.

Heavyocity are good in this respect. I bought some of their libs at NI. All ok in the NI Libraries. And when I d/loaded the Heavyocity portal for last years freebie, It said if you have any libs of theirs bought elsewhere. Just point to it within the portal and voila. My libs appeared in my Heavyocity account.

Problem solved Though I had d/loaded the latest version of Swatches just a couple of days ago. It was reinstalled with the free d/load and needed rescanning. Doh!

Picked up the Insomnia freebie. Some cool sounds. However at least 10 or more sounds are so quiet as to be none existant.And some barely move the leds on the Swatches player. Anyone else with this problem?

Had a response from 8DIO : Thank you for contacting 8dio support. This is a known error that started earlier today, where the instrument files are not being downloaded. We are working on a solution and it will be fixed ASAP. I will update you when a solution has been made. However it crossed a second email from me telling them the NKIs had appeared as a 3rd file in manual d/loads.

I saw that. But yesterday when I updated. All the ones listed above on Komplete Kontrol had issues in red either to repair or reinstall. Today they have all gone.

Just checked on the manual d/load. And a 3rd file is now available containing the NKIs. Just unzip and copy to the folder of resources/samples.

The Presonus Universal Control has been updated to v 3.6.1.84519 For those with a Presonus interface (a bloody busy morning of updates)

Having updated yesterday Bite,Choral, Dirt,Flair,Freak,Phasis, Raum, Replika to v 1.2.0. There was an issue with some as it asked for a repair on the 32bit. Today there is a update for all the above to v 1.2.1 that solves this (plus Komplete Kontrol 2.6.6 but this was mentioned earlier I think.) Run Native Access.

Same for me. D/loaded via the 8DIO d/loader and manually . And got the same results. Resources and sample folders. But no NKIs. Have emailed 8DIO

Here's a quote from Matt @NI on th NI forum "If you have Komplete 13 Ultimate, I'd say it's not really for you. You'll find a lot of stuff you already have." In an earlier post he mentioned 1 instrument a month or MassiveX expansions, or effect. I can see this slowly creeping along with little for Komplete owners . With them releasing stuff already available elsewhere (PB).

And that ain't no bull........

As a Komplete 13 user. This means nothing until they add stuff that means something. Currently it has no value and seems less than the bi-annual summer update.
