Thank you David. I live in Ramsgate. And 5 minutes walk from the cliffs.

A new set of instruments at Pianobook - Evolutions: ONE by Matthew. (there is a second DS instrument from him called Hell Drones) A collection of evolving, moving pads in Decent Sampler format. I've tried to evoke the ancient and mysterious chalk cliffs were I live. A constant source of inspiration. There's also Noire and Straylight from NI, Dimension Pro, Alchemy CM.

So sorry to hear this. One of my favourite vendors. I hope you find work soon.

Cinematique Instruments Composition Set 1 - Urban Thrill
TracingArcs replied to Larry Shelby's topic in Deals
Agree with Fleer. Would love these but too much (for what in the VI world are a couple of aging products). -
Thanks Larry T. Much appreciated.

Hahaha Thanks Wookiee. Probably the first time anyone said that (usually the opposite).

Thanks Bjorn, very kind. Tom, thank you. It was one of those tunes that clicked quickly. And had to resist the temptation to add more. As it would have spoilt the "emptyness" of the piece. Agree about the Jazz Bass. Thanks, Paul

VSTBuzz: 65% off “Oscillation Strings” by Ben Osterhouse
TracingArcs replied to VSTBuzz's topic in Deals
I'm a regular follower on VI-C. And saw the thread. I hope Ben will get some decent monies from this (I have no idea how things work with Loot, PB and VST Buzz. But with the low prices his labours have gone for. He is more than deserving of a little financial "comfort". -

Oscillation Strings works very well with Sospiro Strings and Cello Textures (all by Ben). With these three you have a good foundation for an intimate string pallette. -
New Spitfire Original - Cinematic Frozen Strings
TracingArcs replied to Larry Shelby's topic in Deals
They are brand new recordings. Some of their other originals were from previous (now retired) instruments. -

A big thanks to all who took the time to listen and comment on my tunes I've been posting here. They have been really excellent at giving positive feedback. And encouraged me to push more. Thanks to you all. And all the best for '22.

Gosh ! Thanks DeeringAmps & Phonobrainer. Very touched.

I echo everything said here. A stressful year. My job ceased to exist due to the pandemic. And had the humiliation of employers not even responding to job applications. So said bollocks to it all and retired. And enjoying being creative again (this time on my own terms and not getting screwed over by wonky management). And in particular, dipping into the deals forum throughout the day. And feeling very up when you find a deal and posting it,and Larry has not !. All the best to you all in '22

Well the difference between standard and ultimate was 76 items ! Loving the effects (comp.verbs. eqs,) Replika XT was as good as I thought it would be. Electric sunburst deluxe seems a good melody guitar. Razor, Straylight, Pharlight - right up my street. Will be avoiding any expansions that have the word "bounce", "tropical", "drill", etc Another full day to go tomorrow (only have 4mb per sec here).

GOT IT !! Yep £179 upgrade from K13 standard to K13U. Just in time for my birthday in a few days as well. Now to hammer my internet
-
There's one of those as well. But we all know they are a waste of space. I've never used one in all the years I've been getting them !
-
Thanks cclarry. I thought it was good. And the voucher code clearly states it is for an upgrade from K13 to K13U.

Some advice from the giant pulsing brain that is the deals section. I have NI Komplete 13 standard. I've received an email from NI offering an upgrade to K13 Ultimate with 66% off. Meaning (in £) the upgrade is £179 to Ultimate from standard as opposed to £539 to upgrade. I think in the summer sale it was more than this. And doubt it will be cheaper next summer. Is this a good deal overall. Very tempted (it is d/load and I usually have it on a drive). Or could we see crazy deals next summer?
