I saw that Irish Harp was updated to 1.02. No release notes.

I have the 64 bit MAGIX Acid. I can understand people not wanting to upgrade.
-
Also the move to 64 bit (and the resulting loss of synthedit based plugins) got rid of all the "hey, I can make plugins too" crowd.

Was audition ever in a great position in the DAW market pre-subscriptions?

I thought I read something about Reaper reading Sonar files and exporting to that common format that Presonus and Bitwig developed.

It probably doesn't help that Gen Z is a smaller generation which means that fewer new users will take up the cause.

The thing I am curious, that a lot of people seem to have overlooked, is that Bandlab still doesn't have a pricing plan in place. I mean, they bought the product 7 years ago, have been developing it for all that time, but still haven't figured out how they are going to monetize it? Am I the only one that finds that odd?
-
It's not like anyone is going to add anything new to the conversation regarding lifetime updates and there isn't anything to be gained. I'd rather talk about where Sonar is going. Knowing the industry, it is likely that they are just behind where they want the product to be. I mean, I work with people who sometimes take weeks to even tell you what the file name is that we need to be processing. I'd also much rather believe that Sonar "not coming soon" is due to the real world's constant mockery of deadlines and business metrics. Otherwise what's the explanation?

Could be worse. You could be doomscrolling.

Shouldn't Q be the same though?

He did briefly point out that LPEQ is a real thing.

FREE - WUZIK 2 Instruments (Station X and Station STX DAW)
Magic Russ replied to Vst0nE's topic in Deals
The problem with WK is that he squandered any sympathy he had by continuing to do all the same wrong things even after he promised to change. We've seen him continue to fail to deliver on promises. We've seen him continue to spam us with emails (after promising us not to) where he comes across as if he thinks its his duty to support him. Some people have seen what he has done and will conclude that he is a grifter who is either faking his mental issues or leveraging them to get sympathy. Others might see his behavior as a sign of addiction. His behavior could be due to a failure to make any progress with his mental conditions. Those are all opinions, and while they can't all be right none of those suppositions is entirely unreasonable. The facts are that he keeps doing the same things that earned him so much ill will in the first place. -

How hard is it for a company to google to see if there isn't already a company using the same name for a plugin?

feature request Feature Request: Matrix View like in Cakewalk Project 5
Magic Russ replied to Asato Maa's topic in Feedback Loop
It wasn't quite a must have at the time, even though the writing was on the wall. Also, Cakewalk did one last survey of what things people thought was most important before their last release and "Input Quantization" seems to have won. -
Few if any delays do what objeq can do, for sure.

Haven't had a chance to play yet, but mostly Juno and Jupiter with Prophet V, OB, and MS-20 thrown in. -
On a more serious note, these seem to be provided by MoReVox, who I believe also provided the impulses for the very 80s influenced Dusty Racks libraries. Does anyone know if there is any overlap between the impulses used in 80s Spaces vs Dusty Racks?
