  1. I thought I explained that then. My attitude is all about trying to be looking out for my fellow members. I don't mind being wrong about this. I hope I am. Just be a little careful when things seem very odd. As for your post back then my thinking was and still is that the only way to know about Cakewalk is to try it. Sorry if that seems a bad attitude.
  2. Nothing wrong with being cautious. It just sounds too bazaar to me.
  3. I would be careful here guys. I don't know the OP and I doubt any of you do either. I think the whole thing is bit strange. That user name is a bit much too. X3 is way out of date. I could be wrong.
  4. Its internet wide. It started yesterday. All sorts of glitches and stoppages.
  5. I don't think one can compare video rendering to audio processing. They are very different things. Each frame in a video would have to be rendered. Audio is a walk in the park compared to that video processing.
  6. This is for the PRV. Is that what you want? View > Fit MIDI Content Fit all displayed MIDI content into the visible area of the Piano Roll view.
  7. It sounds great and I hope you have it soon. I think you are getting a great computer.
  8. I am bold over! Now this is good news to me. I was actually looking out for you. I am so glad you made it. I did not know who you were. Now I do and couldn't be happier. Welcome Home!
  9. Believe it or not there are just that kind of sounds and worse but clear and well recorded from other sources . Really, if that is your goal then carry on.
  10. That is the worse sounding synth ever made. Why would you want to use it when there are tons of great sounding synths all over the place? There also sample synths such as Dimension Pro or Kontakt.
  11. Pre fader will affect the meter on the Track Inspector. The meter on the Track Header will not be affected.
  12. The level when recording is not controlled by the faders. In fact changing the fader on a track while recording will result in false readings. Keep those meters as is and adjust level at the source.
  13. Then ProChannel is ideal for that. I'm assuming you have a recent computer with a good CPU. You don't need the greatest and latest computer. It is also possible to freeze tracks you have processed and won't process any more. This will free up resources to do more processing. LOL
  14. I never said you didn't. I was just adding how I look at the forum. BTW welcome to this forum.
  15. Very cool. It took some figuring out how to get it to show up but it has. Yah!
  16. I don't think the PC EQ is a resource hog. It should not show up much in Performance Module.
  17. ProChannel was meant to use very little resources when it was introduced. I can't say if it does now or not. Though it was meant to be used on all tracks. I haven't used it on all tracks yet. Also with the ability to use any VST in PC I would now say no. It would greatly depend on what is in your ProChannel.
  18. Well I wouldn't check all MIDI ports. Just the ones you want. I don't think he would want the MS synth. ?
  19. You need at least three MIDI inputs if I counted your gear right. You may need to add one more.
  20. It is by far a better forum. Things just work. It also has features I have not seen before. I like it.
  21. I see. Not a bad idea. I would put in a feature request.
  22. I don't know but why would you want to?
  23. Use a place on a HD other than your C drive to store any programs add ons and anything you want to keep so if your C drive goes south you have all your stuff safe. For example, I use my download directory on the C drive for programs and stuff I don't need to keep. On another which is 4 TB I use that for downloads for all the stuff I want to keep. This also includes serial numbers in txt documents. However, most developers have a copy of your documents. Just remember your passwords. LOL You also use a external USB 3 drive for this.
