  1. You need to understand the principle of "depth" and how to apply it.
  2. I think I know what you mean. I sometimes do this when I want to Solo or Mute multiple track together at once. Instead of using CTRL, I hightlight the first track out ofvthe group and go straight to the last track from the once I want to select and press SHIFT+CLICK. From here, I can control the selected tracks and non selected tracks by holding CTRL and click the action i want to do - arm/solo/mute I'm not home to check this now. Working at a different studio; different DAW. What would make this easier on the O.P suggestion/request, is if the track automatically hightlight up between track scroll with the mouse hovering on it. That way just pressing "R" would be of use - I might be wrong. Like I said, im not at my studio to validate what I have suggested here. ?
  3. Yes, but that arm's every track. I believe that's not what the O.P want.
  4. Or you could highlight the tracks you want to arm, press and hold CTRL and hit the record button. Works every time.
  5. I second this. It make sense to have all your track inserts like: Aux and Busses in one menu area with your "Track and Midi. Inserts." Adding this to the "TRACK INSERT MENU" Would be a great addition. True what the O.P said. The insert list gets long at times and scrolling to the bottom to insert an AUX is bone wary. For me it's not about Aux is better than a buss - just that extra flexibility. I keep all my effects of busses and use patch points for certain drums or for recording a creative effect to blend in with the dry track. So the routing list does get extremely long. ? +1 for this.
  6. Thanks Jim. I really appreciate the feedback.
  7. Amazon Link attached. My song is doing well on radio guys. Want to thank those that support me on the site - I really appreciate every one who said a positive word.
  8. Sweet @Jesse Screed Thanks. ? Appreciate the positive feedback.
  9. ? It's in the making. I'm allowing this track to run solo on radio for now. It's starting to make waves world wide / and / the request for a new track is high. So, I might release another single or two before I do the album. ☺ Thanks for the positive comment.

    ASIO and Voicemeeter setup

You dont have any output devices selected as it say's there. Choose your device and all should be good. Read here Read here 2 That's why.
  11. I knew that will come back to bite me. ? It had a bigger chorus once, ? but it felt as if it was too much for this one - so I cleaned it up a bit. Thanks for the positive response mate. ?
  12. Almost there, but not quite. The "Wide Window" (A.K.A flatbed or multi-column) only exist within the catergory folder you're visting. Like within cakewalk: You get the single category list, showcasing all your FX folders (in the FX Bin view) with the arrow next to it. Once you hover or click on it - it opens another single (narrow) page, where you have to click 20 times to get to your "favorite/favourite" (depend on where in the world you are) plugin. This is where the wide window will live. This is as clear as I can get with this. Been explaining the same thing over and over. And like I've said many times before on this topic: You will have the option to switch to this feature, like with the other 3 available features. Adding this to that wont break the daw as what people seems to think.
  13. Again . . . Look at this picture.
  14. You guys dont seem to get it. What you are showing is a "one list" page. [Zoom in to check.] Every EQ/Dynamic or what ever you want to use, will be in its own category. It will just be much easier to find, instead of clicking 2mins to locate your favorite one right at the bottom. This will be a new feature to the DAW. Your example was that of a VST and not that of the DAW itself. So it will be new to Cakewalk. Like in every other DAW - the user can switch this On or Off. Stop holding Cakewalk back in 1999. We're in the 21st Century.
  15. Under the "Help" Tab click Activate. When doen go to about and verify thatbit is.
  16. Really dont care about warnings at this point. I will call someone out when they in the wrong!
  17. Appreciate your positive words Lynn.
  18. My latest release is about struggles! So yeah! I'm hell offended right now!!!!
  19. I was there! And that is why I feel shit offended of that comment you've made. I've worked with what I had and in the living arrangements - until I got out of that lifestyle. The world dont need people like you in it.
  20. And this makes you a straight up *****! Not everyone can affort big monitors - not that I dont have / but / here's guys out here working solely on Laptops. The world of workflow does not revolve around your selfish attitude. If you have the means of what it takes to afford these type of equipment great! Out here on the streets - the struggle is real! We work with what we have - so asking on behalf of those producers and where I will benefit - I WILL DO!
  21. Oki - doki. And with this you will have all your ompressors on one window.
  22. If you say so. Go and read the original post again. Who uses 700 COMPRESSORS? the flatbed is on the subgroup Dynamic, EQ Reverb etc. Not all effects on one page. READ!
