  1. Yes. Sorry on that typo. That being said: Here's a lot of feedback about this release on crashes and other issues, that' i'm not experiencing. Do you have all your Netframes installed? dotNet3.5 up until the new Netframe5.0.1 and 5.1 and also the proper Redistribution c++ updates? Disable that annoying Win10 Defender too. It could be reading your clip as a potential virus file.
  2. The newest one. 2021.12.103. I'm always up to date with my DAW from the EA versions until the official release.
  3. Works fine here. @Promidi Have you tried nudging it down? Numpad 2?
  4. Vote here for control points. https://discuss.cakewalk.com/index.php?/topic/25561-automation-control-points/ WK.
  5. Like the title reads. The only thing that's missing are the Meter display change. The same function and Feature can be used to change the meter for each K-System to display K-12, K-14, K-20. Been testing this, and it is accurate as accurate can be! Change the meter to PRE FADER, and then choose RMS + PEAK = K-System. Only thing missing on it are the meter displays. Load in SPAN or any other K-System vst to check this. Feel free to correct me.
  6. This is what I meant. Archive.mp4
  7. What I mean is . . . Try to reinstall Cakewalk in your Home Language new. Try that.
  8. @GreenLight What you're not doing is hidding the tracks. Test it again, by hidding your Archive tracks and try teh Alt+S on solo and unsolo. It works my side.
  9. Try renaming the last 3 folders. There could be a language file missing. And try to install Cakewalk under your preferred home language again to reinstall the missing language certificate (should there be one.)
  10. My mistake. I was rambling on and on that it slipped my mind. Yes, it renders the unsoloing in part broken. It only solo'd the tracks. When all the active highlighted tracks were selected though, it worked as normal with the ALT+S. It solo'd and unsolo'd the tracks. When the Archive tracks were hidden everything worked as it should.
  11. Isn't it suppose to work that way? I use it from time-to-time, when I bounce a clip to track. I assume you're using it to free up Memory and CPU usage? So instead of removing the track cakewalk disable it by taking it out of memory. I have never had any other use for it other than for this purpose and then hiding the tracks. So to have the Solo button working means, that Cakewalk would have to make the tracks active again, placing it back in memory for it to work with solo, rendering its purpose flawed? I don't know. ??‍♂️ But: to answer you, yes, it makes the track inactive to free up Memory my side too. Curious to know what's your use for it?
  12. If you go into Preference and Keyboard Shortcut, with the Area box to global binding and search for "Solo' you get a few functions (including the SOLO ALL SELECTED TRACKS which will also "Unsolo them) to bind according to your preferred keys.
  13. Will.

    Strange repeat issue.

Dont stress too much. Some here think just because you have +0 Community reputation points that the member is New to Cakewalk or have no knowledge of the daw. It's just a misconception on reality in the realm of the internet. Millions use Cakewalk for years, but only discover its forum today. Might be new to the forum, yes. Definitely not the DAW. I'm not trying to disrespect anyone. So, my apologies if this leans towards that area.
  14. How old is Sonar X1 LE? I got mine back in 2010 and been using the ALT+S keyboard shortcut ever since. There's also Alt+M for mute. Solo.mp4
  15. You don't need UPSAMPLING ON PLAYBACK enabled. The global X2 button is more than enough for this in todays world of music, plus the oversampling feature in your plugins (should they have one) are plenty enough. Your just creating unnecessary problems for yourself, with this. I bet, if you ask anyone, they will tell you they have it off, because we have 96khz and higher sample rates. You want constant results? Remove upsampling on every plugin you have it enabled from that window. WK.
  16. No it does not. If you enable upsampling in the FX box you're your 44khz sample rate into 88khz and by enabling teh global x2 button you're increasing the plugin with the upsampling to 96khz. So if you want a constant 88khz (project sample rate of 44khz) or 96Khz (48khz project sample rate) you need to disable any upsampling in the pluging windows border little box. That means if you're running a project on 48khz with the x2 button enabled you are working in 96khz. So if any of your plugins max out at 96Khz and the upsampling on playback/recording are selected in the window border - you are in 192khz with the specific plugin. This is when things either cuts out/disbaled on the plugin, or, your hear those speedups, robotic, alliasings. Upsampling and Oversampling are two different worlds. Soliloquy: Am i explaining this correctly? Anyone is welcome to correct me.
  17. You can just add or remove some. ?? Bus Template - Will.cwt
  18. Also: Make sure "Upsampling on playback is turned off on individual plugins. Locate the tiny little "FX box" on the border window of the plugin TOP LEFT and unchecked it. You don't need to enable all 3. The x2 Upsampling in the toolbar and the one the plugin itself offers - should be enough to handle at best at 48k sample rate.
  19. Cc cleaner also scan programs in the background at their startup process - CyberSec too. Antivirus: Windows built-in Antivirus or any other are the main culprits. Then there's those ridiculous Plugin Manager Assistance/Installers. There's the iLok Manager the host tries to find and scan for licenses and of course the iLok Dongles. This is all programs that permanently runs and gets scanned in the Background when you open any DAW - even when the scanning feature in the DAW is turned off. In General: dust on the system fans will slow the overall performance of the system down.
  20. Revisit: ? I think I've beat you on this one. I think Cakewalk already does have this "plugin" you're speaking of - I MIGHT BE WRONG. I've been doing pitch envelopes extremely a lot before this topic and since this topic, but not as in what's discussed here. I was doing one right now exactly and it strucked me: Hey! heres that thing we were discussing before and Cakewalk is doing this without any external plugins. Purely internal SIR! Question: So, if im correct, would the bakers be able to take the same code and add it to Audio Tracks. (Come to think about it, I don't think its necessary ?) Let me ask the OP. @Xel Ohh I think I have solved this. Been doing it without realising it for a few years now. ?
  21. +1 Bumping this up to get more attention.
  22. When inserting a new Aux track in the console view, it gets added before the previous one. Instead of being added in numerical order as Aux 1, Aux 2, Aux 3 . . . It adds it as follow: Aux 3, Aux 2, Aux 1. Little inconvenient to manually re-order the inserts everytime.
  23. Incorrect: this actually happens randomly from time-to-time. https://discuss.cakewalk.com/index.php?/topic/31739-running-track-on-solo-but-another-track-is-always-audible/&do=findComment&comment=258159 Here I helped another member, but unfortunately the videos are not available anymore.
