    BYE BYE BABY

Yeah maybe a little timing issue here and there but doesn't take anything away. Boy I really like the bluesy solo guitar in there. As always a great story done in the blues style. -Bjorn
  3. Beautiful images set to beautiful music. Thanks Jerry I needed that! -Bjorn

    Road Trip

Road Trip This song had been languishing on a backup drive for years. I made a few repairs, replaced some parts and polished the fenders. Ready to hit the road now. Indiginus Appalachian NI Strummed Acoustic NI Picked Nylon Omnisphere Strings Thanks for listening/commenting. -Bjorn

  6. Here's one of those things that probably everyone knew about except me (as usual). Windows 11 machine. I have a couple of external hard drives (drives within enclosures) that I use for backing up and transferring video files and other large files. Sometimes it takes hours to back them up. I just found out that if you enable write caching on the drives then the backups are much faster, 3-4 times faster in my case. But you have to properly eject the drives when you're done with them which isn't an issue since I've always done that. Go to Device Manager -> Disk drives -> right click on drive in question -> Properties ->Policies -> select Better performance -> Enable write caching on this device
  7. Mikael, here's the AI song from Suno that I mentioned above. Not bad. I was going for a spacy, ethereal kind of track . I like it esp the vocal. Kind of wonder though where the AI engine or whatever it's called gets the melodies and arrangements and lyrics. I'm going to take the song down in a couple of days since it's not really mine. -Bjorn
  8. Mikael I listened to your previous post (Little Creek -nicely done!) and then this one with the added in vocalist and other additions and gotta say I'm impressed with the result. I tried Suno.com -- put in a phrase and it came back with a pretty good song including lyrics that made sense. The vocalist sounded a lot like yours. Not sure how I feel about all this but have to admit I'm impressed. -Bjorn

    Crazy Fool

Great mix and I love the lyrics Daryl. We need more fun pop songs. -Bjorn
  10. Brings back a memory of a super religious family member back in the 70s who hated the song because of the lyrics. Very well done cover, Steve. Really like the Incan (?) flute especially. -Bjorn
  11. Thanks Treesha, I do appreciate the comments. I love the Utah national parks. There's just something about the vastness of it all that appeals to me. There are a lot of YouTube videos for DaVinci Resolve and I recommend Daniel Batal's tutorials. I found him to be very helpful. -Bjorn
  12. Wow, they're very good! I can see why you'd be a proud dad. -Bjorn
  13. This is very nice Larry. Seems better arranged and structured than your earlier posts (IMO of course.) More variety to it as well which adds interest. Kind of a Vangelis vibe which hooked me at the beginning. -Bjorn
  14. Straight ahead classic rock. Nicely done. Enjoyed it Cool bass break in there. -Bjorn

Cool song, enjoyed it a lot. Really liking that backing guitar. Lyrics are great! -Bjorn
  16. Passages Not much of a story in the video, just a series of clips I downloaded along with some special effects in DaVinci Resolve. Thanks for watching/commenting. -Bjorn

    Just a Smile

Thanks. I appreciate the comment on the guitar volume. I'll fix that on the next version as well as replacing the vocal with something else. I'm a sucker for ethnic female voices even if they don't really fit in with the rest of the song.

    Trust

Catchy melodic bits and the different instruments play well off each other. Really good drum track. The tempo seems a tad too fast IMO. -Bjorn
  19. I like the clock like sounds at the beginning. Kind of a hint what you were going through while writing the song. Some songs just have an overall ethereal quality to them that lifts my mood nicely and this is one of them. Well done! -Bjorn

    Just a Smile

Just a Smile I'm not so sure the vocal part really fits in with the rest of the song but going to leave it the way it is for now. Thanks for listening/commenting. EastWest Voices of the Empire Sound Iron Mimi Page Falcon Indiginus Renegade u-He Zebra AD2 drums

    Simmer

Yeah, smooth and laid back, puts me in a relaxed frame of mind. Great job on the flute as well as the other instruments. -Bjorn
  22. I've mentioned it before that you have a great rock n roll voice. Still do even after Covid. Nicely done song in the classic rock style. -Bjorn
  23. Straight ahead rock n roll. Fun to listen to and I'm sure a whole lot of fun to play it. -Bjorn
