The Nomad Factory VST3s (80s Spaces, All-Tec EQs and Pulse-Tec EQs) have folders with a suffix of .vst3 and work fine, as does Suurge XT, so it's not something absolute about the .vst suffix on the folder calling the problem. What are the contents of a "broken" .vst3 folder, as I guess it may be something inside the folder that is causing the issue. That aside, I can see how a folder named equal to a file inside the folder could cause unexpected behaviour (recursion oddities). It also plain looks wrong!

I was trying to think about how this would work in practice and got myself in a crazy loop about offsets ending up triggering notes before they should be triggered depending on temp changes (I started working on an example and fell asleep :-)). I also wondered if it actually becomes quite intensive to do all the calculations, especially now we have smooth tempo changes rather than discrete jumps.

Yes but...if I start calling Deep Purple country (and western?) because that's my interpretation of it, it's going to get all sorts of confusing for everyone. It was a great tune though @kennywtelejazz

That's a fair point...better safe than sorry! We played some good (and bad!) gigs with the band, sometimes joined by some ex-HW members which was cool!

I'd post a picture of myself when I was in a Hawkwind tribute band but that would rule me out of the self-deprecating thread for sure ?

Have you rescanned VSTs (either manually or got CbB to do it on startup)? -
