  1. Yes I have same problem with Lurssen in Cakewalk, have to run it standalone.
  2. Waiting for him be knocking on the door...
  3. Guys you better check this out, some biggies like dynamic waveform scaling and offline activation to name a few ?
  4. Dynamic waveforms, offline activation, mono plugins, scrolling... are you kidding me? GUYS, YOU'RE ON HIGH FIRE!! Can't express how much I thank you. A question, is offline activation periodically needed, same as the online way?
  5. Ah house, thanks Fleer. Too bad I missed it.
  6. What was the first one that I have also missed?
  7. The announcement should sound like a god sent so why I'm feeling like I'm scammed? Oh yes maybe because they want me to pay not for something like plugin created with efforts and invention but for something I should have got from them a long time ago and for no extra cost?
  8. They do this "Follow on Soundcloud" thing which I can never pass through because I don't have soundcloud account.
  9. That's exactly what I was doing for years starting with version 3 of Cakewalk professional (for windows 3.1) that one particularly was very reliable in handling MIDI.
  10. Oh that would be adding ca. 300 plugins to the other 600 already there, or vice versa . Building from scratch is probably not taken into account... lol I'm, like you, starting to see no advantage. Thanks again.
  11. Thanks for confirming this, Steve. How to do it? If I open from plugin browser it's showing only one category. Is there a use for it? For example have them displayed separately in Cakewalk as effects of synths depending on what I select, like it is now, but keep them in a single layout file? Hopefully updating it with new plugins in future won't delete anything, say I want add an effect and save the layout, then the synths won't be deleted.
  12. I'm thinking about creating my own layout, never did it before. After doing some tests and reading help file I noticed that if I add a new plugin my layout is not updated. Do I have to update manually each time I'm adding new plugins? Second question, I couldn't find a way to create single layout for both the fx and the instruments plugins. Is there a way or I have to keep two separate layouts?
  13. a single TTS-1 audio track and just a few MIDI tracks was all I needed today for quick writing down a song idea, I agree it would be handy to have that option in wizard in this scenario it's not about processing separate audio outputs of multitimbral softsynth but to have MIDI tracks with clear overview while writing down an idea and working on it
  14. The old highlanders used to count this way: one, two, three, plenty...
  15. OMG Fleer thank you! such tiny and such powerful I think I'll keep it like that for next generations LOL
  16. You're most welcome Starship, yeah the AAS installer is one of the most paranoid I think. Another fun is when you're cleaning up your hard drive from 32bit, AAX and all the other unwanted plugins to save another few more bytes on your precious SSD because, you know, you can only have as much space. So when you delete for example anything from NI or XLN, their download manager will mark those products as corrupted and when you hit 'repair' it, it will literally populate your disk with all that garbage again... and that's it! I think the most bizzare installer was a drum plugin from StudioLinked. First I have carefully selected the correct path for 64-bit vst plugin and told the installer to put the 32bit version in my system temp folder by precisely inputting the full path. Next it placed it's 32-bit plugin in my 64-bit Vstplugin folder and the 64bit plugin in an arbitrary folder that he created somewhere in 'Program Files'... Whoah! No way it could be found without scanning the whole system disk .
  17. AAS installer created Vstplugins folder even in c:\program files\native instruments I'm telling you go check there... Edit: if you're on 64bit windows dont forget the 'program files (x86)' folders as well
  18. Larry is that your fist plugin-baby? From the brand name it sounds like you own it.
  19. That's why it would be better if sections could hold entire clips that start/end outside section. Let's say clip starts close to the end of Verse1 and continues a bit through Chorus1. It should entirely belong to the section that covers greater part of the clip.
