I have 2 questions re BIAB: Does it have some tools for printing some nice looking, print-ready chord charts? Do any of our favorite discounters/resellers sell it? Will I loose anything, any extras, if buying the basic version from a reseller instead of pgmusic? Ok, that makes it 3 questions Thanks!

I think the whole discussion on plugins updates could easily miss the point without mentioning that a huge source of the problems are now constant transformations of OS-es. That at least in my experience. It used to be much more stagnant 15 year ago (and I'm missing it).

Actually I may be wrong about it. Here's what's written with the small print down at the very bottom: "Soundtoys 5 Academic and Upgrades are not on sale during the Holiday Sale." So there's still hope, unless what theyr trying to say was it's not going to happen but I remember there was usually an annual sale on upgrades around Christmas ...?

Although I really like their products for the sound, sadly I have to agree with many points from OP. Somehow I managed to get my head around the plugins and how to incorporate them into my workflow as far as it gets, but the few contacts with support never worked for me, never. Unfortunately Cakewalk's support didn't give me much hope as well, regarding IKM stuff and my bug reports. It's like these two don't like to walk the same direction and time.

I bought his Tapeface because I couldn't use any of the IKM tapemachines during producing/mixing. It's a great little dodger totally worth it!
