  1. @locrian IIRC, izotope stuff gives us at least three methods for authorizing: ilok, disk or registry. Each of them has own quirks, for example I didn't want registry entries so I went for disk but it failed. Turned out it tries to write a file in the top C:\ directory but didn't have enough permission to do that. So I started Cakewalk as administrator for that and it worked. They don't give much hint about it, I admit. Yeah it changed recently and I liked it more simple before. I too, don't like constant changes and moving thins around where you have to find same things over and over again
  2. Thanks Larry. You mean move them after installation? That wouldn't be even possible for me now.
  3. Before I go searching for a steinberg forum I thought I'd ask first here. Maybe someone has a quick answer with a simple solution that I'm somehow missing: I installed Cubase Elements via Steinberg Download Assistant but I see there are tons of gigabytes of audio samples waiting for install but my SSD is barely above 2GB free now that windows steals some more and more space with every upcoming update. Question is, is there a way to point the Download Assistant to install sample data to different disk than my system drive? (not talking about the download/"target" folder but where things are being actually installed). I installed Cubase and it did install without even a notice so that doesn't built any confidence in my own control abilities within this app. Also I see there is Steinberg Library Manager installed along with. Anyone can give a hint what it is or point to some website where I can read about it? Thanks
  4. Umm... ...more as a warning, or ...more as a teaser?
  5. Good timing.. just about when I was going to say I'm done with buying for now ?
  6. More stuff on their website https://bertom.gumroad.com/ some quite interesting I'd say with the EQ analyzer you can, for example, make sure that both your vintage analog Pultecs can work as a matched pair ?? Air Shelf is a little genus idea
  7. Can you give some examples of much more flexible sample libraries?
  8. No, but for a while it was processed through fastspring and billed extra taxes depending on the country.
  9. Yep, and now they allow simple paypal again. APD is back on track! ?
  10. What the funk! I seem I can't stop buying their libraries... especially that they are constantly doing all these sells

These are amongst the best on the market although somewhat resource hogs. Another great sounding leslie plugin and very very low in resources is the Spin from GG Audio. I'm an organist, I disliked most of leslie sims for their fake sound, including Hammond-Suzuki own algorithmic (digital) leslie ?. But I do get it that you can have a nice creative guitar sound out of most of them.
  12. Or individual installer.. that's what I'm doing One word of caution though, I bought their Juno synth and installed manually because I too hate having to install on my system a "central" and "manager" for every developer out there, but it wouldn't work anyway without updating Pace License Manager to a newer version. That makes me a bit mad cause such practices are begging for troubles for some users, especially those staying on older systems. It was the only one plugin in my life that asked for a new Pace License Manager or no go, and my system isn't that old. Annoying... but man that Juno sounds sooo rewarding
  13. Any idea if it's offline or online installers (under the links above)? (answering my own question: I think these are most likely online installers...)
  14. Wondering whether they'll ever add a release changes.
  15. I'm bouncing off the walls on their website but can't find the manual pdfs anywhere. Do you have the link perhaps? UPDATE: I lurked under 'Compatibility'
  16. Have you noticed how Ujam gui is a knockoff of the current freebie at adsrsounds?
  17. This puts a lot, and I mean a lot of Omega-3 oil with spices added, on your otherwise thin and weak 'veggy' recordings. Chill down before served.
  18. Love anything urban... oh wait, these are explosions ?
  19. That's exactly how I got sucked in, finally! ?
  20. I too have the original CA2A and the new one, PC2A doesn't have sidechain input but I'm not sure that was stated in cakewalk's release notes.
  21. You say this every time! Is that how you ended up with six copies of it? ?
  22. A sine from cinesamples?
  23. Already have my EQ81 long time so all is good, but I really wanted that pop-up. Hey, what's wrong with it!
  24. Everyone of us is going under this type of weaknesses sometimes... don't worry, soon you'll be better
